These videos are from lectures given (IIRC) 2015, but are just as informative today. In light of current events, I thought it would be a good time to review them.

I would like to buy a gun safe for my son for Christmas. It needs to hold both long guns and semi-autos. I'm on Social Security, so I don't have an infinite amount of money. He does a lot of target shooting, so it needs to hold boxes of bulk ammo. My son served four years in the Marines, so he knows what he' doing. We live in Central Texas, so if you know of places near, say, Waco, that would be helpful. If you've upgraded and have one for sale, that would be okay, too.

A Texas doctor allegedly injected poison into IV bags, causing the death of a fellow physician and cardiac emergencies in 11 other patients, at a Dallas facility in retaliation for a medical misconduct probe, federal court papers allege. Anesthesiologist Raynaldo Rivera Ortiz Jr., 59, was arrested Sept. 15 — one week after the Texas Medical Board yanked his license after a string of healthy patients suffered mysterious and life-threatening complications during routine surgeries from May to August. None of the patients were under his care. "Respondent’s continued practice of medicine poses a continuing threat to public welfare," the board wrote...

"This photo was just sent to me of a grounded Southwest plane flying a Gadsden flag out of the cockpit. The Hero Pilots at Southwest and other Airlines deserve our support. True patriots worthy of the American Freedom Fighter tradition. Don’t Tread On Me. God Bless Them 🇺🇸✈️🙏🏻

Dr. Anthony Fauci argues for gain-of-function research in 2013. He presents a slide from a New York Times editorial "An Engineered Doomsday" which pointed out if a virus escaped a lab it could kill millions. He claims safeguards have been put in place to prevent that.

As if 2020 weren't insane enough already, we now have Democrats and their ruling class masters openly talking about staging a coup. You might have missed it, what with the riots, lockdowns and other daily mayhem we’re forced to endure in this, the most wretched year of my lifetime. But it’s happening.

I just updated my $500-but-now-worthless Nokia 950XL phone. I want to factory reset it to use it for something else. Will I need to update it again? Or can I switch users securely so my main user account won't be compromised? I plan to only use it to access my social media accounts through EDGE. I'm using a Motorola z4 now. I'm not happy to be using Android, but iPhones are horribly expensive. Thank you in advance for your help.

"Terribly disappointing. Army says faith-based group can no longer put Bible verses on dog tags. In God We Trust is our National Slogan. Our original Commander in Chief — George Washington — invoked God — as have his successors."

But there was something the women didn’t know: Their driver was streaming a live video of them to the internet, and comments from viewers were pouring in. The blonde is a 7, the brunette a 5, someone with the username “DrunkenEric” commented. “She doesn’t sit like a lady though,” another viewer added. The women are among hundreds of St. Louis area Uber passengers who have been streamed online without their knowledge by their driver, Jason Gargac, 32, of Florissant. Gargac has given about 700 rides in the area since March through Uber, plus more with Lyft. Nearly all have been...

"Let me explain to you why I think Peter Strzok Jr is an Iranian agent, and Barack Obama was blackmailed by Iran." When you get to tweet #31, click on "more replies," because he screwed up the thread.

Justin Amash has something of a record of voting for illegal aliens and against the Republican base. But this is about MS 13 and other gangs. Is he really that blind, tone deaf, and stupid?

The Street first reported that Amazon Technologies Inc. had filed for a meal-kit trademark that covers “prepared food kits composed of meat, poultry, fish, seafood, fruit and/or vegetables . . . ready for cooking and assembly as a meal.”

Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Lindsey Graham (R-SC) released the following statement today on the Egyptian parliament’s passage of legislation regulating non-governmental organizations (NGOs): “The Egyptian parliament’s passage of draconian legislation regulating non-governmental organizations (NGOs) undermines Egypt’s stated commitment to protecting constitutionally-guaranteed rights and to furthering Egypt’s democratic transition. We urge President al-Sisi to reject this legislation and uphold Egypt’s constitutional commitment to freedom of association and assembly. “This legislation would effectively subject the operation of independent NGOs to powerful Egyptian security agencies. Egypt’s longstanding and vibrant civil society would be placed under unprecedented pressure to cede...

It’s no secret that Donald Trump is as much of a blank slate on policy as anyone who’s ever been elected president. Both supporters and opponents of the president-elect agree that Trump is still very malleable on many issues and has a lot to learn about both foreign and domestic policy. This is why it is critical for conservatives to win the ‘battle of personnel’ in the coming days. Failure to land conservative outsiders in key cabinet and advisory roles would be akin to failing to establish control of the beach head during the Normandy invasion. We can dream of...

"American voters disagree 65 - 29 percent with Donald Trump's suggestion that President Barack Obama may sympathize with terrorist organizations such as ISIS. Republicans are the only listed group to agree, 55 - 33 percent."

In the world of ISIS jihadis, there are no forms to fill out to send in a check to get a membership card. This is not the Sierra Club. When ISIS declared to its target audience of followers in the West that this year’s Ramadan (June 5-July 5, 2016) would be a time of jihad, if they heard the call and agreed with it, under sharia law they had a duty to act. The Orlando shooter heard the call, agreed with it, and therefore had a duty to act, and acted. It’s just this simple. Why was the Orlando shooter...

Long article, worth every word. On May 13, the Washington Post published an online op-ed by former CIA director and CENTCOM commander David Petraeus, titled “Anti-Muslim bigotry aids Islamist terrorists.” The op-ed was noteworthy chiefly for Petraeus’ use of rhetorical clichés more commonly expected from the Council on American Islamic Relations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s “Islamophobia Observatory,” including such standards as “inflammatory political discourse against Muslims and Islam,” “blanket discrimination on the basis of religion,” “those who flirt with hate speech against Muslims,” “those who demonize and denigrate Islam,” “who toy with anti-Muslim bigotry,” and the ever-reliable “demonizing...
