My best buddie (right wing consevative like me) owns dive shops and dive boats here on Maui. Tonight he is taking 40 Iraqi Vets out on a sunset cruise with food and drinks and it's on the house. They are from Hawaii National Guard. Any of you come to Maui, pay him back for his good heart by going with Maui Dive Shop. (look them up online mauidiveshop.com)

I wrote a letter to the NRA giving them hell for endorsing Jones instead of Simon. They were nice enough to answer my letter. This is their letter to me: Thank you very much for expressing your views regarding the Calif. Republican gubernatorial primary. As for your concerns regarding NRA-PVF'S endorsement of Bill Jones, they will be forwarded for careful consideration. You can rest assured that we will be more than happy to consider the input from NRA's California members on this important issue As for the decision to endorse Bill Jones, it was really quite easy. As a State ...

Feeling footloose and frisky, a featherbrained fellow forced his fond father to fork over the farthings. He flew to foreign fields and frittered his fortune, feasting fabulously with faithless friends. Finally facing famine and fleeced by his fellows-in-folly, he found himself a feed flinger in a filthy farmyard. Fairly famishing he fair would have filled his frame with foraged food from the fodder fragments. "Fooey, my father's flunkies fare far fancier", the frazzeled fugitive fumes feverishly, frankly facing facts. Frustrated by failure and filled with foreboding, he fled forthwith to his family. Falling at his fathers feet, he floundered forlornly, ...

THE MAUI NEWS Letters to Editor | Dec. 3/ 02 | Fish Hawk
Obesity kills more than terrorists do. We were all greatly shocked, saddened, then angered by the loss of more than 3,000 innocent lives on Sept. 11. Our government has taken drastic steps to prevent a recurrence of such tragedy. Then, on Dec. 13, U.S. Surgeon General David Satcher announced that 100 times that many Americans die each year of diseases caused or aggravated by obesity, a self-inflicted, totally preventable tragedy. More than 61% of the nation's adults and 14%of Children are affected. He estimated the annual cost to our nation at $117 billion. Yet, our government is not mobilizing the ...

Sorry for the Vanity but...turned to CNBC and Chris Matthews was on when he wasn't supposed to be. He has moved one hour later as of today. WHY? Is Fox's O'Reilly hurting him so bad he had to change times to get away from the heavy competition??

I was listening to Rush this morning and I was on Free Republic at the same time.(I can do two things at once)It came to mind that: Is Rush getting at least some of his material from F.R.? For instance I was reading about Pee Wee Herman and Rush was talking about Pee Wee Herman. I was reading about No Smoking now No Santa, guess what? Rush starts talking about No Santa. My theory is that instead of Rush monitoring Jewish World Review, News Max, Front Page Magazine, Fox,etc. He just goes to Free Republic where all the footwork ...
