If polls and commentators such as Barone and Morris are correct and Romney is going to win big then Intrade is way off. Is there any precedent for Intrade showing such off results this close to an election? I know in 2004 after phony exit polls were released they had Kerry way up, but right now I see no published items that would indicate traders using real money should be so heavy for Obama. Some have said Intrade is being manipulated but is there any precedent for that?

Everyone is so afraid that pictures of Obama riding around New Jersey for a few minutes with Chris Christy are going to throw the election to Obama. Four years of awful governance gets put aside for a ride around storm damage and a promise to throw money (ours) at storm victims? Is it really that bad? Is our position that tenuous?

Have there been any poll results or other indications of the effect West's commercial is having? We know the media will call it desperate and intemperate. How are the voters reacting?

On Tuesday, some of Hollywood's biggest names, including Sylvester Stallone, Paula Abdul and Jon Voight, will take part in a fundraising, solidarity concert for the besieged Israeli city of Sderot, which has been hit by more than 7,000 Kassam rockets in the past seven years. Entitled "Live for Sderot," the concert features a performance by Israeli singer Ninet Tayeb. Along with leaders of the local Jewish community, Hollywood celebrities and movie stars, a delegation of 10 teenagers from Sderot will be guests of honor at Tuesday's event.
