Okay, this is a vanity post. I was just watching Fox News and they were showing off the new movie "The Fast and the Furious". Its supposed to be about street racers. I got to thinking that these people are probably racing out on the streets because of the lack of a local and inexpensive racetrack near them. I know that there had been talk about putting in a dragstrip in/near Watsonville, near the Bay Area, SF. It keeps getting killed for one reason or another. What is stopping these?
