You need to re-read the article. Okie01 was exactly correct in his analysis.

Anyone with a military background knows that you must limit the number of enemies you fight at any one time. Newt’s mistake was in attacking all of the parasites at the same time. So, they all rose up against him in unison. And their enablers in the press rose up as well.

But who can make a case for shutting down the entire U.S. Government, because the House demands a freeze in Federal employee salaries? It just won’t play on Main Street in Hometown, U.S.A.

Wysong’s strategy is ingenious. Isolate each little group and make the RINOs and Democrats decide whether it’s worth shutting down the government to save this tiny constituency. Won’t play on Main Street.

Another thing that Newt did not have was the Tea Party. The Tea Party groups have enormous mailing lists to counter the Sinister (left-wing) Press.

These groups are raising campaign money and supporting candidates independent of the wishes of the Mitch McConnell type Republicans. They’ve taken a large amount of the total campaign donations and spent it on the right causes. The Inner Circle of the Republican Party can’t control that.

Additionally, we have FR, World Net Daily, Drudge, Red State, Fox, and a steadily growing stable of conservative talk show hosts and bloggers.

If the House leadership wholeheartedly adopts this Wysong strategy, they will finally effect true government reform.

Can’t wait to see a rider on a Debt Ceiling bill that prohibits any further expenditure of so-called Stimulus funds.

Although they don’t amount to much money, think what a blessing it will be for our country when the same treatment is given to Planned Parenthood funding, Acorn and its homologues, and public broadcasting. Then cut United Nations and EPA funding. And on and on and on.

Sorry to be so long-winded. I got carried away.

    Harmod to Zack Nguyen

I am praying for him in accordance with Psalm 35 and Psalm 109. I am also including Michael Schiavo, Judge Whittemore, and all the appellate judges who turned their backs on an innocent woman and her family.

I pray that God will make examples of all of them.
