  • WI: Unions ask Democrats in Walker recall to make veto pledge (Falk signs)

Seriously...WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW A RICH TEACHER.

They aren’t rich. Their unions might seem corrupt, hell they might be corrupt, but the teachers themselves bust their ass to teach dumbass kids who don’t have parental discipline.

Show some respect to people that have a better education than most and who devote themselves to an almost thankless job for the sake of parents everywhere.

Are you really comparing a 4 year +1 degree to “average”. There are comparisons one can make but that is about the most retarded and offensive I have ever seen.

If you are going to make comparisons in wages at least compare it to those who have a four year degree.

Actually...don’t do that. Teachers make far less than they should. We are talking about the people that educate our kids. The people we should be applauding we are demonizing for wanting a livable wage.

Considering the effort they made into their education we should be paying them a lot more.

I swear this is one of the first times that every conservative and liberal I have met agrees on a subject.

You can tell which people in Congress are paid by the RIAA by who is voting to support and who is voting against.

WHOA WHOA WHOA!!! This isn’t just Barry’s mess up. This is our screw up. This is Bush’s Screw up. We all let the govt. decide that we need to be probed 6 ways to Sunday in order to be safe.

Barry is keeping up with it, but make no mistake, our complacency is what let this continue....Patriot Act, name one Patriot that is alright with the govt, being involved with their life.

  • Stand Against President Obama’s Abuse of Recess Appointments (ACTIVISM TIME!)

While the idea sounds great in idea...this is a waste of time.

Either 0 rejects the bill, then needing a 2/3 to pass...good luck

Or he accepts the bill thus completely messing up any future Republican presidents who try to stop an obstructing democrat led house (and lets face it, not this time, but sometime it could happen).

Either way at the end of the day the Supreme Court has already ruled that this is acceptable so anything signed now wouldn’t affect No-bama’s appointments.

  • Obama bypasses Senate, installs new consumer chief

I recently replied to someone saying it was the Supreme Court that made this legal (Evans v. Stephans). I was incorrect.

This was made legal by the 11th circuit court. It was never brought to the Supreme Court.

To that end it was Bush 43rd that brought this legal challenge to the forefront. Basically....once again we can thank him for another horribly bad decision that is being used against us.

I really wish you were right, but sadly the Supreme Court disagrees with you. (Evans v. Stephans)

Currently there are no differences between an inter-session and intra-session recess in Congress. The second the gavel falls for people to go to lunch the President can install people.

Usually the sacrosanct amount of time passing was 10 days, however, there is no actual legal basis for that.

Since this particular title was already agreed to in Congress the President had the ability to fill the position.

To be honest this is probably a good thing for most of Congress, now they can go on their vacations without having to come back repeatedly just to try to block provisions they had already agreed upon.

Repentance is important, but who here didn’t read how he basically said “It doesn’t matter what I do, because I am too valuable and what I have to say is the most precious thing to this country.”

The guy is a megalomaniac. If we don’t vote Santorum we are wasting our conservative vote.

  • CFLs (compact fluorescent lamps) eyed for fire danger

I do not know your particular situation, however, using CFL lamps in an enclosed environment will sometimes cause catastrophic failure.

Also if they are used in the base up position CFL lamps can over-heat if they do not have enough ventilation. This is caused from the electronics necessary to maintain the fluorescent arc located in the base.

Not a bad technology just does not have the right information surrounding it to make sure that there are no issues.

CFL lamps are not the devil. I love using them in my bathroom.. Light comes on right away, but not full bright for a couple seconds so my eyes can adjust.

Everywhere else I use LED lamps though. There is zero reason outside of obstinance not to use the best technology avaiable.
