Taleban radio update - 10 October 2001 BBC Monitoring Kabul radio The Taleban radio station, Radio Voice of Shari'ah from Kabul, remains unheard by BBC Monitoring since 1610 gmt on Monday 8 October. At that time, the domestic service on mediumwave 657 kHz was broadcasting a speech by a pro-Taleban cleric condemning US attacks against Afghanistan. The speech was in progress when reception was lost.
