You did? I thought that the amish considered musical instuments to be too worldly. Amish punk rock certainly sounds interesting though. I wonder why I've never heard about it, since I live near amish country.
I also voted straight Republican, with the exception of Pres. Bush of course. Only difference is that I believe the the libertarian ideal of non-intervention. So I opposed the war in Iraq, based on the reasons stated for the military action. I felt that it was unnecessary at the time. But I feel that just because I may oppose a war, it doesn't mean that I am less of a Republican. The only congresswoman to vote against entering both World War I and II was a Republican. I just feel that we should respect each other, even if we may sometimes disagree. I find it to be sad that Republicans can be so insulting towards each other. Especially the neo-cons who attack us on our own RLC board.
While I consider myself to be a libertarian-Republican, I certainly am glad that I can vote Libertarian in the absence of an exceptable Republican candidate. I would certainly hate it if the only choice were between a neo-con Republican and a liberal Democrat.
This new national ID sounds like the mark of the Beast in The Book of Revelation. In it anyone who didn't have the mark couldn't buy or sell anything. This is scary. I never thought that anything like this could happen in America, especialy by Republicans who should know better.
No not all terrorists in this country were professing muslims. Timothy Mcveigh was a registered Republican in the state of New York. Plus in Northern Ireland, the I.R.A. were Catholic.
