I have a question(s). During this past Spring there was a story that came out of either the Kentucky or Tennessee legisltures that a women refused to pledge allegiance to the flag. She based her actions on her "feeling" that the flag represented slavery. Has either legislature met since the Spring session? Has she since taken the pledge? If they meet in 60 days,as some states do, has there been any media coverage of her in her "home" state asking her if she will take the pledge? Please provide any information and/or sources that I could refer to. Thanks.
