This site was started by a California Liberal. His goal is to use his surveys to prove that his liberal views are the most common and most correct views. Since the friends of his that he has told about the site are mostly like minded CA liberals, he feels that he is proving his point.
  • Unethical behavior by Democrat Congressman, Mike Honda

Congressman Mike Honda is my representative in Congress. I believe that Congressman Mike Honda has made an ethics violation. He posted an October, 2102 report from the Committee on Energy and Commerce on his Facebook page. This report details Mr. Honda’s assumptions about the effects of Paul Ryan’s budget upon the Seniors in his district. The posting of this report at this time appears to be on overt attempt to influence the Presidential election. It influences the election because Congressman Ryan is the opposing party candidate for Vice President. This overt attempt to influence the election is using taxpayer dollars...

... Intro Stuff.... There is already conjecture that James Holmes may have been involved in mind-altering neuroscience research and ended up becoming involved at a depth he never anticipated. His actions clearly show a strange detachment from reality, indicating he was not in his right mind. That can only typically be accomplished through drugs, hypnosis or trauma (and sometimes all three). .... Much More in Article....

Do you think an extension of the payroll tax cut should include approval for the Keystone XL pipeline? Yes -- It would be a good display of compromise from Washington. No -- It's completely unrelated and needs its own debate and decision. I'm not sure

"...literary detective Jack Cashill discovered months before the November 2008 election: nothing in Obama’s history suggested he was capable of writing either Dreams or his 2006 book, The Audacity of Hope. In fact, as Cashill continued his research, he came to the shocking conclusion that the real craftsman behind Dreams was terrorist emeritus Bill Ayers."

..... In his analysis accompanying the recently released Annual Report of the Medicare Board of Trustees, Richard Foster, Medicare's chief actuary, noted that Medicare payment rates for doctors and hospitals serving seniors will be cut by 30% over the next three years. Under the policies of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, by 2019 Medicare payment rates will be lower than under Medicaid. Mr. Foster notes that by the end of the 75-year projection period in the Annual Medicare Trustees Report, Medicare payment rates will be one-third of what will be paid by private insurance, and only half of...

It is called Spot and Shoot. Operators sit in front of a TV monitor from which they can control the action with a PlayStation-style joystick. The aim: to kill. Played by: young women serving in the Israeli army. Spot and Shoot, as it is called by the Israeli military, may look like a video game but the figures on the screen are real people – Palestinians in Gaza – who can be killed with the press of a button on the joystick. The female soldiers, located far away in an operations room, are responsible for aiming and firing remote-controlled machine-guns...

For every iPhone, there's always a Verizon response. With the iPhone 4 out in the spotlight, Verizon has a new flagship device launching on July 15th: the Droid X. Like the iPhone 4, it's getting put through the paces, and the folks who have gotten to play with it are loving it just as much. How does it match up, though? Hit the link below to find out. The Odd Design The Droid X isn't shaped like other phones. It's got a fat top and a tapered bottom, yet it doesn't make it feel awkward. "The bottom is super...

I just watched Obama's speech about the Christmas day bomber. He did not use the eye level teleprompters. I also noticed that he did not use them for the speeches he gave from Hawaii. He appeared to be using a prompter in the podium. You could see him looking down to read but he did not turn any pages. I assume that he has taken so much grief (and rightly so) for his teleprompter that he is trying to change. He is not doing a good job. His looking down to read makes him loose eye contact with the audience....

Scientists have shown for the first time that "lifeless" prion proteins, devoid of all genetic material, can evolve just like higher forms of life. The Scripps Research Institute in the US says the prions can change to suit their environment and go on to develop drug resistance. Prions are associated with 20 different brain diseases in humans and animals.

Senator Nelson of Nebraska cut a special deal. In exchange for agreeing to allow government funds be used for abortions, he got a special deal for Nebraska. The special deal was that Nebraska would not have to pay matching funds for Medicade. All the other 49 states must pay matching funds. Many of those state like my own state of California can not afford to pay those matching funds. Who pays for Nebraska's Medicare casts? All of us who live in the other 49 states. BS, I say. We should not stand by while Nebraska sucks money from all the...

Which civilian official rate a salute from our military personal? I know the that the POTUS is the Commander in Chief and thus should be saluted. What about the Vice President? I just a video of Joe Biden being saluted and returning the salute. That surprised me. Who else? The Secretary of State? The Secretary of Defense? The Speaker of the House (Please tell me no)? It was always my understanding the salutes should not be rendered to or from personal not in uniform. This does not seem to be the case with the Commander in Chief or the VP.

We started this whip count effort on June 23 because it became clear that in the course of making their deals with stakeholders, the Baucus Caucus (who were negotiating on behalf of the White House, with the participation of the White House) had very likely already dealt the public plan away. On May 11, "stakeholders" including the AMA, PhRMA, the hospitals and the device manufacturers delivered proposals to the White House promising to "voluntarily" reduce cost increases over the next 10 years. In an effort to keep them "at the table," Baucus's Chief of Staff Jon Selib and Finance Committee...

Babs Boxer showed up today at a Barnes & Noble book store in San Jose, CA. Many citizens showed up at the book store to express their opinions to Babs. These activities all took place out side the store. As far as I know, there was no disruptions inside the store. This small minded hag was walking around taking pictures. She said was going to put them on the Internet to show everyone what "idiots" we were. Can you imaging a conservative doing something like this at a liberal rally. The ACORN and SEIU guys would rip you apart.

Obama has set up web site that will automatically make appointments for you to visit your Congressional Representative. They have set this up for use by their congregation to scare Representatives into voting for the socialist health care take over. There is no reason why we can not and should not use this tool to set up appointments for ourselves. It would be great irony if thousands of Freepers showed up because of Obama's efforts. I have made my appoints. The web site for making the appointment is:http://my.barackobama.com/OfficeVisit

With biting wit and amusing personal anecdotes Harry Stein's I Can't Believe I'm Sitting Next to a Republican chronicles the every day survival of those plucky conservatives marooned in liberal bastions that loathe them, from Manhattan to Hollywood-and even deep bleu France. The result is a conservative's guide to love, work, dinner party mischief and staying un-smeared in liberal America.

The house just passed the biggest tax on the Nation in the history of the nation. Narrowly passed by 219 to 212. All the Democratic party callers on CSPAN were expressing disgust for their party about Cap and Tax. About Pelosi forbidding Republican amendments. About limiting Debate to three hours. About the rush to pass the bill. Nancy Pelosi and her family will profit handsomely from this bill. A dozen congressmen have sold their souls to vote for this Cap and Tax bill. ACORN is changing it's name. Chris Dodd has announce that the "powers that be" do not want...

Here’s a homeland security threat that doesn’t fit the rightwing extremist profile. Paging Janet Napolitano. Oh, never mind: The Weld County sheriff’s office is looking for whoever sent it a letter threatening to put bombs around Greeley next week unless illegal immigrants are released from jail. The sheriff’s office says the letter was handwritten in Spanish, and the threats were directed primarily toward judicial and law-enforcement officials. Sheriff John Cooke says he wants the public to know his office is working diligently to find and arrest whoever wrote the letter. The Greeley police department and state and federal law enforcement...
