The woman from HP would be far less likely to govern this nation in a way as to rebuild our values and return it to its constitutional path.

She would be too busy trying to get a feel good consensus on things and would compromise far too much.

Cruz on the other hand, if elected, and with majorities in the House and Senate, would make sure that the proper legislation, the proper foreign policy, the proper energy policy, the proper immigration policy, etc. etc. was pushed through to begin turning our nation, our economy, and our status in the world around.

..and the Dems, the progressive liberals, the naysayers be damned if they oppose it.

I have FAR, FAR more confidence in that, than in anything the former (and I believe failed) CEO of HP could accomplish.

And these things are exactly what I want and am looking for.

IMHO, Beck is too busy testing the waters and the winds regarding this. It is clear Cruz has the right perspective on most all issues and is willing to stand and fight for them.

If the Islamo-fascists, Daily Mail, and other libs are really, really worked up against Pamela Geller...then I would say she is right over the target and hitting home.

Good on her. YEs the event was in these fascists face.

But America has had a long history of challenging such tyrants and winning.

    “Don’t Tread on Me!”

    “Come and Take Them!”

Today we need that same spirit.

If we cow and refuse to exercise our rights because some extremist or some tyrant wanna be demands it, or threatens us...then we have lost those freedoms already.

The folks in Texas with this event understood this and were ready for the killers when they came.

    Good on ‘em.

He made an idiotic statement and is now trying to walk it back.

He is now saying that what he meant was:

“If you feel the need to mock Muhammad with a cartoon, realize that Muslims will react(possibly with guns) however they want to.”

And gas posted the same on his twitter feed with a hundred excuses.

Fact is, those folks believe that their 1st amendment rights are critical. The guy form the Netherlands who drew the cartoon of Mohammed years ago and who the Islamic clerics issues a death fatwa against, was invited to this meeting in Texas and he came and spoke.

Yes it was in these tyrants face...but they were ready for them and took them down hen they come,.

There are some things worth fighting for and risking death to maintain.

If people give in just because these tyrants threaten us, then they have lost their freedom already.

I expect the same, which is why I said it would backfire on them and actually make matters worse.

The fact that there have been riots and people injured and killed as the result of the system finally working tells you that the system is, at the same time, being corrupted.

What these prosecutors, politicians and race baiters are doing is IMHO itself illegal and they should be held accountable for it under the law.

This whole things...like others before it, reaks of corruption, political abuse of the system, and lies.

The Prosecutor’s announcement in Baltimore about bringing charges against six officers there was nothing more than a political campaign speech, it certainly was not a prosecutorial statement.

This prosecutor should not even be prosecuting the case. She should have recused herself because she is a close personal friend to the young man who died family’s attorney. That attorney has been her mentor and was a large campaign contributor to her political campaign to become prosecutor. With a conflict of interest like that, there is no way she should be prosecuting the case.

As to her prosecution, she has charged those officers with 2nd degree, willful murder. It sounds like she is going for the highest charge she can possibly think of without any credence given to the actual facts on the ground. Again, it sounds like she is doing so to make a political statement and try and use that to calm things in Baltimore. But it will not work. It will only end up making things worse.

Given what happened, I do not believe there is any hope or chance of sustaining, or winning any kind of verdict on such a charge. If the arrest indeed was not legal (and that is certainly not established), charge them with illegal arrest and detention. If they did not seat belt the young man in the paddy wagon, charge them with violating their own safety protocol. But to take those two things and turn it into a willful murder of this young man is simply amazing in its over reach.

Finally, any good attorney and prosecutor would not rile up the public and seek to bias them as this prosecutor has done. That too ends up backfiring when the house of cards ultimately comes down.

I believe, like with the Trayvon Martin case in Florida, and the Michael Brown case in Ferguson, MO, huge, and unprovable over-reaches like this end up in having the people they are trying to trump up the charges on being exonerated and found innocent of those charges.. As in those cases, this attempt will end up not serving justice or the interests of Baltimore. Sadly, predictably, it will only make matters worse when the charges cannot be supported and the individuals are found innocent.

It is sad to see the U.S. justice system being politically corrupted right before our eyes like this.

  • Hundreds of Muslim refugees headed to Idaho

    Jeff Head to detective

Boise has a very liberal mayor who opens his arms to such groups...and has been doing so for years.

Boise is a city of closing in on 200,000, and they now have brought in up to 11,000 of these refugees from numerous countries...and from the looks of this, it looks like Boise will be getting 1,400 more.

I have nothing against immigration...as long as it is done legally, and as long as those immigrating come here to become Americans.

I have nothing against a structured and legitimate refugee program where people seeking shelter from tyranny, and wanting to become a part of the American culture and American principles are allowed in.

but that is not what this is.

the liberal progressives are wretsting and corrupting those programs with a plan that is directed at precisely the opposite. They want to water down the American culture and its foundational principles, doing it in the misbegotten name of diversity, and trying to build a larger voting block against conservative America.

That is what this is about.

And the fools do not even realize...or think they will be immune from...the motives of these people one day when they think they have enough power to change America, rise up and start their Jihads, etc.

    Most of Idaho sees this.

But sadly, even here, we have GOP politicians who somehow will not stand firmly against this nonsense because they fear the media and being labeled.

Well, years ago (like 30 years) in my small town in north central Texas, we had a neighborhood cat that we pretty wild.

He would come into our garage at night, terrorize our cats and eat their food.

I caught him one night there, closed the door before he could get out, and then proceeded to beat him around with a broom.

He was dazed at the end of it and I literally opened the garage door and swept him out onto the drive way.

I thought that would fix it.

Nope. A week later, one of my young children left our front door open as we went to church and when we got home, here came Mr. Wild Cat slinking out of our house as we pulled up.

He had gone into our bedroom and scented my side of the bed.

Next day he was slinking by our back yard and as soon as I saw him he got an immediate taste of some 20 gauge 6 shot.

    Problem solved.

It too was not too pretty...but nothing a burlap sack and a trip to a nearby river did not take care of.

My guess is, that after they caught him and put him in the van...he continued to resist. The police indicate that they had to stop the van to put additional restraints on him

Perhaps something happened during those struggles that injured/severed his spinal chord.

Sounds like a tragic accident while in custody to me.

However...the individual has been arrested many times for possession with intent to distribute, and lately for burglary and assault.

So, when approached, he ran from officers who were lawfully seeking to question him. He was caught and detained. He resisted and was injured.

If this is what happened, the police should come forward and simply indicate that while resisting he was injured. That it was tragic and unintended.

The longer they go without some form of straight forward explanation, the more it looks like they are hiding something.

In today’s environment, such delays are simply a recipe for more problems. Protests, Riots, Unrest also gen’ed up by race baiters. Etc., etc.

He swore an oath to this country, and he made an even stronger vow to his wife.

“For better for worse. In sickness and in health. Til death you do part.”

I have great respect for Petraeus capabilities as a general, a planner, and his military capabilities.

But all of that is betrayed and tarnished horribly by the violations that he committed and the most basic trusts he violated.

So his wife of some 30-40 years does not look like a sweet young thing any more?

Bid whoop. Big deal. The man is old enough, mature enough, and has been through enough of life to know that he should never think with the wrong part of his body.

If he was true to his vows, he would love that wife just the same and do the hard work of retaining her love and trust.

So, yes...I blame him for that hurt, that dishonor, that stain he brought to his wife and family on that count. And for the shame and betrayal he brought to his nation.

He is human. We all are. We all make mistakes.

He made several HUGE ones, and had to be caught in them. And so his star fell because of them in a big way...but he was also not held accountable for violating his honor and trust as an officer...as one poster said, that commission should be given up.

I would retain some level of respect for the man if he came forward and owned up to that bald faced violation as an officer. As it is...he has been disgraced for violating the nation’s trust for the information he was entrusted with.

In the end...somehow, the God in Heaven balances the scales. Either we do it by sincerely coming to His Son, repenting, taking His name upon us and having the price paid...or we will pay the price.

But the price will be paid in the end.

These men were being shot at in a war zone. Most (if not all) were former US soldiers with honorable service.

The initial chrges were thrown out, but a fedral appeal court revived it and brough them to trial.

So how do you translate someone who is under fire in a war zone and panics to pre-meditated murder?

No, this was more of Holder’s DOJ going out of its way to throw the book at former US soldiers, hired by the State Department to protect diplomats, who were involved in “Bush’s War,” in Iraq and make an example of them.

This is Holder executing Obama’s directive and clear feeling that anything traditional American is the culprit in the world and needs to be “punished.”

“He served with honor and distinction.” Susan Rice.

Problem is...Susan Rice probably meant exactly that, even given that he deserted and collaborated.

This was known when they made the deal for the Taliban commanding generals.

To these a**hats, that is what they think of.

Obama and those he has appointed are the worst sort of ant-American, anti-constitution, individuals imaginable. They themselves consort with the enemy (as is obvious from the Bergdahl deal, the deal they are currently negotiating with the Iranians, Benghazi, etc., etc. ad nausium).

    1. Cruz’s mother met the requirements for her to pass on US citizen ship to her son at the time of his birth.

    2. Obama’s mother did not meet those requirements at the time of his birth so this is a big issue IF Obama was shown to be born outside the country. Of course, Obama maintains that he was born in Hawaii, and if that is true, it would not have mattered at the time. But to this date, the documentation he has provided has been suspect.

    3. At this stage, with Obama having his second term nearing an end...it will soon be a moot point in any case. Realistically, even if he was shown to have not met the test at some future date, it will not undo what he has done.

I believe it is clear that Cruz meets the definition and will do just fine in that regard.

It will be hard for the left to make any issue of it in any case...but even if they do, from what I have seen...they will have no foundation for their argument.

  • Netanyahu Flip Flop: I Want a Two-State Solution [Israel]

    Jeff Head to Star Traveler
Probably the best expose of the situation given.

    By Benjamin Netanyahu:

In 1947, when the United Nations proposed the partition plan of a Jewish state and an Arab state, the entire Arab world rejected the resolution. The Jewish community, by contrast, welcomed it by dancing and rejoicing. The Arabs rejected any Jewish state, in any borders.

Those who think that the continued enmity toward Israel is a product of our presence in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, is confusing cause and consequence. The attacks against us began in the 1920s, escalated into a comprehensive attack in 1948 with the declaration of Israel's independence, continued with the fedayeen attacks in the 1950s, and climaxed in 1967, on the eve of the Six-Day War, in an attempt to tighten a noose around the neck of the State of Israel. All this occurred during the fifty years before a single Israeli soldier ever set foot in Judea and Samaria.

Fortunately, Egypt and Jordan left this circle of enmity. The signing of peace treaties have brought about an end to their claims against Israel, an end to the conflict. But to our regret, this is not the case with the Palestinians. The closer we get to an agreement with them, the further they retreat and raise demands that are inconsistent with a true desire to end the conflict.

Many good people have told us that withdrawal from territories is the key to peace with the Palestinians. Well, we withdrew. But the fact is that every withdrawal was met with massive waves of terror, by suicide bombers and thousands of missiles.

We tried to withdraw with an agreement and without an agreement. We tried a partial withdrawal and a full withdrawal. In 2000 and again last year, Israel proposed an almost total withdrawal in exchange for an end to the conflict, and twice our offers were rejected. We evacuated every last inch of the Gaza strip, we uprooted tens of settlements and evicted of Israelis from their homes, and in response, we received a hail of missiles on our cities, towns and children.

The claim that territorial withdrawals will bring peace with the Palestinians, or at least advance peace, has up till now not stood the test of reality. In addition to this, Hamas in the south, like Hizbullah in the north, repeatedly proclaims their commitment to "liberate" the Israeli cities of Ashkelon, Beersheba, Acre and Haifa.

Territorial withdrawals have not lessened the hatred, and to our regret, Palestinian moderates are not yet ready to say the simple words: Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people, and it will stay that way.

Achieving peace will require courage and candor from both sides, and not only from the Israeli side. The Palestinian leadership must arise and say: "Enough of this conflict. We recognize the right of the Jewish people to a state of their own in this land, and we are prepared to live beside you in true peace."

I am yearning for that moment, for when Palestinian leaders say those words to our people and to their people, then a path will be opened to resolving all the problems between our peoples, no matter how complex they may be. Therefore, a fundamental prerequisite for ending the conflict is a public, binding and unequivocal Palestinian recognition of Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people.

God protect and bless this man and his clear, principled goals for the future of Israel and peace.

The left and libs are doing there all to try and “catch “ Netanyahu in his words.

    But they cannot.

He said that “today,” he was against a “two state solution” during the campaign. He said it was unachievable “today.” And he is right.

As long as the Palestinians confederate with Hamas, and do not denounce the “destroy Israel” stance they take, there can never be a two state solution.

    Period.

This does not mean Netanyahu is against any “two state solution,” it just means that it has to be based on trust and goals that drive them both towards peace. Right now...that is not the case.

Obama and his cohorts want a “solution,” at any cost...meaning any cost to Israel. They loathe Netanyahu and his principled stand against those that Obama supports...like the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and the Mullahs in Tehran.

    Her favorability should be plummeting.

Download and take a look at the following government form, OF-109:

Form OF-109 - Separation from Government Service: Statement

This is a standard form that government employees must sign when they leave government service, and it would be a serious violation for Hillary not to have signed this form. As I say, it is a standard part of the separation process when you leave government service.

If she withheld or did not turn over her emails after leaving service, she is in violation of the law, and could be charged with a felony.

This whole issue of her emails is clear cut.

Due to the Federal Records Act, whose stipulations are covered in US Code 44, Chapter 31, all government employees go through annual Security and records training where all of this is laid out to them. It is required to take that training, and you are automatically reminded of it each year.

Most positions, require disciplinary actions if this training is not taken, and the employee is not recorded as having taken it. The Training is an online course requiring teach employee to enter their name, email, and identifying information so that their compliance can be recorded.

The Records training makes it very clear that every email you send, or any other correspondence, article, paper, etc., which is in any way associated with your position and responsibilities, is by definition and official government record, and that it must be stored by the government.

This is grilled into every employee. Every IT worker in the US government is aware of this and there are servers, backup servers, and offsite storage up the ying-yang that have been created to ensure that the requirement is met.

If Hillary Clinton willing kept those records on her own private server and did not turn them over to the government (and those records are not meant to only be turned over at the end of their employ...they are required to be stored as they occur), then she is in violation of those laws as well...not to mention the laws and penalties spoken of during the separation process.

I hear these liberals talk about this...trying to indicate that it is no big deal. Well, they are wrong...it is a big deal. Those saying it is not are either completely ignorant...or they are intentionally lying to cover for Hillary.

It is some of the former, IMHO, and a lot of the latter.

The only reasons Hillary would have an email server in her own home is:

    1) she is a complete computer geek who loves to dabble in all of the settings and permissions so as to be able to play email king.
    2) She is going to offer email service to others.
    3) She want to ensure that she and her people are completely in charge of her emails and can store them, disseminate them, and/or delete them completely without anyone else's knowledge or interference.

I will let you decide which it is...but if she did this with government emails, which are government records, then she is violating the law.

This environment has been wholly MANUFACTURED by the US Attorney General, by the President of the United States, and by their cohorts in the race-baiting industry and the liberal press.

There was no racial incident with the death of the black hood last summer. He was a criminal and even a completely biased Justice Department was forced to admit that the officer did no wrong.

But early on they gen’d up racial hatred and animus and they have stoked those flames ever since...the latest being the potshots at the Ferguson Police Department when they were forced to admit that the officer himself did no wrong.

I believe those who have been stoking these flames, passing on hear-say and out and out lies, and then presenting them to the public as fact, from the President on down, should be held criminally and civilly liable for the injuries that are now resulting.

In my opinion, Supreme Court ruled in favor of Notre Dame and vacated an onerous decision by the 7th District Court.

I believe tThis is very good news for Notre Dame and all of us.

The 7th District Court had ruled against Notre Dame where, in essence, the university had argued that they should be able to avoid the Obama Care demand that they support abortion.

Now the Supreme Court vacated the 7th District Court’s ruling and sent it back. IMHO, the Supreme Court is saying that Notre Dame should have religious freedom protection similar to the ruling for Hobby Lobby.

It is a shame and travesty that such obvious religious freedom should have to go to the SCOTUS for a decision in the first place. Similarly, that the wanton killing of unborn children should have ever been legalized in the first place.

In my opinion, God in Heaven will not forever sit back and allow such depravity to consider amongst a people so blessed as this nation.
