June 25, 1999 Lewisburg, PA, Gaeteno Polidoro, former member of a South Philadelphia drug gang died yesterday of an apparent drug overdose in Lewisburg Pa., Federal Penitentiary, where he was serving two life sentences. By now everyone knows that two of the recent dnc polls have literally exploded in their faces. Those participating in the polls overwhelmingly voted to support "George Bush's Risky Tax Scheme" and "Opposed" stronger gun control measures. In another thread the comment was made that Conservatism meant "getting the government out of our lives". Now while I feel strongly that this is one of the major goals of Conservatism I don't think it ends there. My litimus test for a Conservative has always been Pro-Life, Pro-Gun, Pro-God, Pro-Country, Pro-Leave me alone. Do any of you have a litimus test for Conservatives? Are there taboos that are not and cannot ever be consistent with Conservatism?
