Doug, they do have real beer in SF - It's called "Anchor Steam Beer", and it's been brewed there since the 1893, I think. Unfortunateley, I'm not available, but if you're going to do karaoke, try these words to "Big Yellow Taxi" (Put Up a Parking Lot): http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/988256/posts
Can anyone tell me what happened in the televised/radio broadcast arguments about the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals' decision postponing the October 7th, 2003 recall election? I can't find a single thread discussing this.
If you're at all familiar with the web site, you know that it only publishes content from columnists. They have no control of what the authors say.
In addition, if you actually READ the column, you'd have to agree with his point: That these self-appointed "leaders" are destroying minority youths' lives by convincing them that they have no chance to succeed in America. This perpetuates the ignorance, apathy, and reliance on outside help that continues the moral and intellectual poverty, which, in turn, perpetuates the so-called leadership of "snivel rites leaders".
Here in my cube, I can't hear, but can see what's going on. Orrin Hatch is at the podium, and I know they had a quorum call, but what's he saying? Can someone enlighten me?
My suggestion for a hobby would be what I do - fly model aircraft. You can do all the aerobatics you want, build them quickly, and walk away from every crash, no matter how severe. You also get to watch them fly apart due to RAT - Rapidly Approaching Terrain. Regards,
At least the professor has as a required text "Invisible Man" by Ralph Ellison. Ellison wrote cogently on race relations before the Civil Rights Acts of the '60s. It clearly promotes the individual over group rights. Another good one, which I'm going through now, is "Shadow and Act", a collection of essays.
As for making nooses, I learned in about 4th grade. It is not, however, taught in Boy Scouts (at least in the manual). Still, "no noose is good news", at least to the professor.
