  • Black Americans Should Thank Confederate Leaders for Their Rights

It is unlikely that the Civil War amendments would have been proposed and ratified if Confederate leaders hadn’t precipitated the Civil War. The fact that the civil rights amendments were an inadvertent result of the Civil War doesn’t detract from the fact that the war resulted in ratification of constitutional amendments that outlawed slavery and would eventually guarantee all black Americans equal protection of the laws and the right to vote. Blacks should embrace the Confederate flag to show their gratitude for the benefits blacks received from the Civil War.
  • Banning Confederate Flag Conflicts with Dr. King’s Teaching

Treating the Confederate Flag as a hated enemy because some low life racists have misused it conflicts with Dr. Martin Luther King’s teaching that we should love our enemies. Instead of trying to ban the flag, black leaders should be embracing it so they can turn it into a symbol of racial harmony. Turning the Confederate Flag into a symbol of racial harmony would rob racists of an opportunity to misuse a popular southern symbol to further their goals
  • Pro-Life People: When Debating Abortion, Avoid This Embarrassingly Common Logical Mistake

Don’t you hate it when your honest clarification question is mistaken for the start of a fallacious argument? Almost every time in the last year I’ve talked with pro-choice students at a pro-life outreach, I’ve had an exchange that goes something like this: Pro-Choice Student: The fetus isn’t even a person. Tim: We agreed earlier that a newborn is a person. Do you think a fetus is a person right before birth? Pro-Choice Student: *sigh* I know where you’re going with this, you’re going to try to trap me by asking if it’s a person right before that, or right...
  • Journalists Share Blame for Charleston Tragedy

American journalists are partly to blame for the recent racist shooting in Charleston, South Carolina, because they continue to perpetuate the old southern racist myth that black Americans are a separate “race” from white Americans. Journalists seem to support the “one drop rule” or “part black all black”. For example, they continue to refer to Asian ancestry golfer Tiger Woods as “African American” even though his mother has Asian and Dutch ancestry and his father has Asian, European and North American ancestry as well as African ancestry. These racist journalists even refer to a child who has a black parent...
  • Disney Apparently Ordered Award for Jenner

In my previous post I discussed the possibility of bribery being involved in the selection of the so called courage award for the actor formerly known as Bruce Jenner. I had planned to ask in this post if Disney might have ordered ESPN to give the award to Jenner because it was thinking about a movie deal with him to take advantage of his previous association with the popular Kardashians. Then I discovered that Disney had premiered its own reality show about a man becoming a woman called “Becoming Us” at the same time as the Vanity Fair article and...
  • Did Jenner, or E! Network, Pay for Arthur Ashe Award?

    06/21/2015 9:06:33 AM PDT · by kathsua · 4 replies
    London Telegraph ^ | June 21st, 2015 | reasonmclucus
I’m not accusing anyone of bribing ESPN or its employees at this point. I’m just looking for a logical explanation for giving the wealthy actor formerly known as Bruce Jenner an award for courage for a decision that required no special courage because the decision is going to make him even richer. I also want an explanation for why ESPN which is owned by ABC is going out of its way to promote a program on the E! Network which is owned by NBC. A bribe is a logical possibility considering Jenner’s purported wealth and the tendency of many rich...
  • ESPN and Capital One Are Dishonoring Real Heroes

    London Telegraph ^ | June 20th, 2015 | reasonmclucus
The decision by ESPN and Capital One to allow the actor previously known as Bruce Jenner to desecrate the Arthur Ashe courage award dishonors real heroes. Jenner has done nothing to deserve the Arthur Ashe award........ If Jenner accepts the award he will mark himself as a coward rather than a hero.
  • E! Network Paying Jenner for “Sex Change”

The E! Network has destroyed the story by the actor formerly know as Bruce Jenner that his decision to adopt a female persona is a result of some feeling he really is a woman even though he still wants to have sex with them. E! is doing a series on Jenner’s transformation into a female character named Caitlyn. Now don’t we all feel sorry for Jenner having to take all that money to the bank. I wonder if he will be crying all the way to the bank
  • Baby Was Born Alive After an Abortion at 24 Weeks, Nurse Left Him on the Table Struggling to Breathe

The issue of infanticide following an abortion is very real — and statistics from the United States and Canada show hundreds of babies are left to die after they are born alive following a failed abortion. The issue is not isolated to North America, as a pro-life legal group in Europe is standing up for these babies. On June 23, the Council of Europe will decide on the admissibility of the Petition Against Neonatal Infanticide signed by over 200,000 people, who asked it to reaffirm the right to life and to the care of babies surviving their abortion. These children...

‘Bloody Sunday’ is a moment forever etched in the history of the civil rights movement in America. What should have been a peaceful march for the rights of blacks to vote without hindrance became a gruesome scene of police brutality on display. Those who talk about the Second Iraq War, The WMD War, seem to have forgotten that the war began during Bill Clinton’s administration rather than George W. Bush’s administration. Clinton began the war late in 1998 either because he didn’t think Saddam Hussein was adequately cooperating with U.N. weapons inspectors or to distract attention from his impeachment.

Pro-life activists are reporting that a medical emergency took place on June 6, 2015, at the Orlando Women’s Center, a high-volume abortion facility owned by the notorious abortionist James Pendergraft. Michele Herzog of the Pro-life Action Ministries Central Florida posted heartbreaking photos on Facebook showing a young, African-American woman as she was wheeled out the back door of the abortion facility and loaded into an awaiting ambulance. She was transported to a Winnie Palmer Hospital. Also responding to the incident were six other police and fire vehicles, including a Fire Department ladder truck, a Fire Department supervisor’s vehicle, and four...
  • Abortion Doctor and Nurses Face Manslaughter Charges After Killing Irish Woman in Abortion

A British abortion practitioner and two nurses at an abortion clinic in Britain face manslaughter charges for their role in killing a woman from Ireland in a botched legal abortion. Another woman from Ireland also died in recent years after getting a legal abortion in England. The woman who traveled to England from Ireland in 2012 died following a legal abortion she obtained that resulted in a heart attack caused by “extensive internal blood loss” hours after having the abortion. The woman was 20 weeks pregnant at the time of the abortion and underscores the importance of protecting women from...

ESPN has damaged the credibility of the Arthur Ashe “ESPY” Courage Award by planning to give the award to reality show actor Bruce Jenner for what appears to be nothing more than an elaborate publicity stunt. Jenner claims he’s now a female character called “Caitlyn” but admits he hasn’t had, and doesn’t plan to have, an operation to change his body from male to female....I might let him get away with this farce if there weren’t much better qualified candidates for the award.

462 100 1 According to the Washington Times, supporters of Lauren Hill are so upset that Bruce Jenner was chosen over her for ESPN’s Arthur Ashe Award for Courage that they started selling t-shirts that have a picture of the teen with the words, “The Real MVP” and “Thank You Lauren” at the bottom. Lauren had a very deadly form of brain cancer known as Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), which is a pediatric cancer found at the base of the brain. Unfortunately, less than 10% of DIPG children will live longer than 18 months from diagnosis. Doctors told Hill...

The pro-choice movement coined the term “reproductive health” to promote contraception and ever-more-questionable methods to end pre-born lives worldwide. Far from empowering women, abortion has created a multifaceted marketplace that profits from killing the defenseless and using a woman’s body during pregnancy. Globally, the health and safety of women is being threatened by a corrupt industry that exploits them and devalues human life. Detailed research reveals five emerging issues that pose immediate risks to women during maternity. 1. Let’s keep it real, shall we? I don’t like everything about parenting. I hated my daughter’s croup. Why do I need to like everything about Down syndrome? 10. I hate it when he uses his low muscle tone to his advantage in a tantrum. It’s not a fair fight. I hear parents say “All kids do it, it’s age appropriate at 2 years old!” Yeah? Well, say that to me when I’m draping a 13 kilogram liquid toddler over my arm like a highly disagreeable fish playing dead. Then still powering on with my grocery shop. 9. I hate it...

Operation Rescue has received two 911 audio recordings related to two separate abortion-related medical emergencies that took place at Preterm Clinic in Cleveland on March 20 and April 24, 2015. During both incidents, abortionist Lisa Perriera was on duty according to eyewitnesses who tell Operation Rescue she was seen at Preterm at the time of the emergencies. Perriera is known for having conducted the second-trimester dismemberment abortion that led to the death of 22-year old Lakisha Wilson last year. Preterm-03202015 The March 20, 2015, recording indicated that a medical assistant employed by Preterm placed a call to 911 at 2:57...

There’s nothing quite like learning about the fate of your hard-fought advocacy work through a tweet. I was spending time with my wife and children, doing our devotions, enjoying a nice big breakfast, and not worrying about the world around us for those precious morning hours last week. As the kids scurried out the door for their homeschoolers’ dance class, I started flipping through all of the notifications on my phone. “@LifeHasPurpose @RyanBomberger Congrats on big 4th Circuit ?#FreeSpeech win vs. ?@NAACP censorship attempt!” Greg Scott of Alliance Defending Freedom tweeted. Talk about being caught off guard. I rushed to...

In 2012, Michaela and Christopher were at their 20-week ultrasound patiently waiting to find out if they were having a boy or a girl. However, instead of finding out the sex of their baby they were told that their child had some very serious health problems and that they should consider abortion. Michaela explained, “As we went for our routine 20 week scan we were excited to find out if it was definitely a girl we were having, it was the happiest day of our lives after having our two sons Kaiden (4) and Bayley (2). We were scanned for...
