Levi's is one of the most poorly run companies in america. I have relatives who work there and believe me, they are the only people there who seem to be doing their jobs. Levi's has huge layers of administration that come in at 10 in the morning, take two to three hour lunches and leave before five. then the company hires contract workers to do the work their regular employees can't (or won't) finish! the kicker is that when layoffs happen, it's not the long-time, entrenched incompetents that are fired, but the younger productive workers who are not steeped in Levi's "progressive" culture. Hard to believe, but it's the TRUTH!
Yes, I heard Ted David quote from a "news source." I have CNBC on all day long (it's part of my job) and I tune it out most of the time, but that comment really got my dander up! I was so outraged that I decided to start posting rather than just lurking! It's been a very cathartic experience for me!
When this first came on CNBC the commentators were almost overjoyed that they reported that O'Neill "cried" when confronted by Byrd. However, upon viewing the video, this was obviously not the case. Bloomberg News has a corrected story with a statement by someone at Treasruy stating that O'Neill did not "cry" nor did he have "tears streaming down his face" like those idiots at CNBC said. I have yet to see any sort of correction on CNBC. Of course, it was the obviously biased Michelle Caruso-Cabrera that reported the story so I don't expect any apology or retraction anytime soon. I have already emailed CNBC and voiced my displeasure at their reporting. We'll see if I get a response.
