This country may have been founded on Judeo-Christian principles; but has the basic belief in God become too outdated for today’s progressive society? Not according to 80% of the US. According to The CIA's World Fact Book Protestant 52%, Roman Catholic 24%, Mormon 2%, Jewish 1%, Muslim 1%, other 10%, none 10% (2002 est.)
