I wonder if the hotels will be forced to stop preparing any pig-based foods while the “guests” are there, even if PAYING guests want them?

‘I’m sorry sir, we can no longer serve sausage - those nice people you saw pooping in the pool this morning have complained, and now YOU don’t get to have any!”

Why is the scummiest, poorest, most ignorant part of the Eastern Seaboard still part of our nation’s capitol?

“Washington DC” should be the Federal buildings, mall, and just enough of the Potomac and other lands to keep it congruous. All the rest should be forcibly placed back into Maryland - the “native population” of DC should be ZERO, except for the First family.

Then we wouldn’t have to hear all the “no representation” bullshoot anymore, AND, as “Washington, Maryland” sinks into the abyss the entire nation wouldn’t have to be embarrassed, since it’s what would be expected by a liberal cesspool like Maryland - look at Baltimore.

Actually, what would be AWESOME would be if they renamed the new city in Maryland “Obama”! Obama, MD would be the perfect example of what happens when pure democrat policies are implemented!

“Our side is going to have to offer a background check initiative that checks the buyer ONLY, via a drivers license or some recognized photo ID - a version that cuts the link to the Form 4473.”

Agreed. The system we should argue for is a dual Voter ID / Legal Gun Owner Card. Any by this I mean that if you can vote you can buy a gun by showing this secure ID. Go to a polling place, show the card, vote. Go to a gun store, show the ID, buy a gun, or two, or however many you want in the same way you can buy a sixpack of beer or a dozen bottles of wine if you show your ID just ONE TIME. NO recording of serial numbers, etc.

The stupidest thing we put up with is the “new background check for each purchase” BS. If I buy a gun in January, have absolutely NO legal problems all year, and then buy another in October why do I need another check? If I bought a gun in 2012 and have no problems why another check in 2014? If I bought one when I turned 18 in the late 1980s and have had NO legal problems for almost 30 years, why do I need another background check in 2014?

How about this: Upon turning 18 you get a secure VOTER ID card, assuming no serious childhood record. From that point forward you can show it to buy guns from whomever you want (and they are ensured of your legality if you show it to them) until that time that your right to vote is taken away, which for 99% of people is never. Seems fair right - if you are legal to vote you are legal to own guns. All gun buyers are “background checked” when reaching adulthood and their ability to buy guns legally is removed if they commit a crime or infraction that is severe enough to warrant the loss of voting rights as well.

I would not want it to be linked with driver’s licenses because driving is a state-sanctioned privilege unlike voting and gun ownership which are rights.

  • What Obama has wrought: Some Americans 'Never Want' Another Black President

I would love to see Row 2, Column 6 take on “Hillary” (TM) in 2016.

I want Hillary to tell Condi to her face that she doesn’t understand women or “urban issues”, and hopefully Ms. Clinton will use that “black preacher” twang she takes on when speaking south of the Mason-Dixon line - you know all the “I see a lot of good people workin’ hard, raisin’ their families, doin’ what they can...” We might just see the first knockout punch thrown during a Presidential debate.

Yes I know about CR’s abortion views, but if Hillary wins you get that and about ten thousand other things that will pretty much be last call for this country.

I live in Arizona. There are over a million Mexicans and other Hispanics here and they could give a crap about being “PC”. Do you know what they call black people in Mexico and most of South America?

The “New America” that Obama and friends are trying to set up is going to be a very rough place for “African-Americans”. I actually feel very sorry for the 10 to 15% of them (in my opinion) that mean well and want to live good solid lives, because they and their children are about to get washed away by a river of Hispanics, Asians, Middle-Easterners, and others that feel ABSOLUTELY NONE of the guilt that some stupid white people do.

Right now blacks make up about 13% of the US population of 300 million, but with a few decades of floodgate amnesty, and keeping the “6 out of 10” abortion mills going, the black population will fall to 6 or 7% of 500 million and NOBODY will give a crap about their problems outside of Philly or Atlanta. Some Indian or Hispanic boss won’t hire you? Can’t get into a good school because the Asians filled it up? Kid got beat up by a group of Hispanic “youth”? Guess what? Since it wasn’t “whitey’s fault” NOBODY WILL CARE.

The second black President (Clinton was the first, right?) is pretty much the worst thing to happen to the long-term prospects of black people in this country since LBJ. I really do wonder if deep down inside some black Americans are starting to see what’s going to happen and have realized what they’ve done. Just a few non-race-based black voters in a few states and we could have probably avoided this.

  • UN experts: Detroit should restore water to poor

I can tell that the woman carrying those jugs does not spend a lot of time sitting on the couch watching “Judge Judy” shows on weekday afternoons, eating platefull after and platefull of SNAP treats.

Maybe THAT’s the answer - form a bucket brigade from the Detroit River and carry nice fresh Canadian snowmelt water up into the housing and projects of fine Detroit neighborhoods. The locals lose weight, the water gets delivered. They could set up TV’s along the bucket route if going without all-day “entertainment” would be asking too much.

Not too long ago my state, Arizona, was once again mocked for considering a “Religious Freedom” bill that would allow people to not participate in such things if it violated their religious beliefs. Of course the governor, Jan Brewer (who is already well known pretty much globally) vetoed it - because of the impact on tourism, Super Bowls, etc.

But here we are, chapels being sued to force them to comply, just a few months later! First of all, who would want a “wedding” at a place that doesn't want you? The minister should just ramble, make rude jokes, take frequent breaks to go make himself a sandwich - whatever it takes for the word to get out that the Hitching Post isn't a good place for (gay) weddings. It should only take one. Imagine that old guy wearing cutoff jean shorts, an Iron Maiden T-shirt, eating beef jerky, scratching his balls, and watching a game on his cell phone DURING the “ceremony”? Put that on U Youtube and you'd have a million views in a week.

BTW, we just had gay marriage “judged” upon us last Friday. WHEN the first lawsuit like this happens and a small business is threatened by angry hordes, you can bet that the whole argument from the summer will play itself out here again.
