actually...to all....this woman is being 'fined' $1 per day for her to post her 'support the troops' sign...(and her friends are paying that fine). I do agree that her community has the right to define what is to be posted in front of her house. If they change the rules for her....all hell will break loose with 'signs'. She probably didn't start out to make a statement...but to show people that her husband was willing to put his life on the line for his country...she supports his (and all of the troops')efforts. Let it go...and...stop with the personal attacks on people who might not agree with your stated point of view. Freepers should have more class...stick to the subject.

When you look over at your wife....if you don't see a hot, svelte, twenty-something...tight and tucked woman....shaddup! I kind of like Edwards' wife...though, I question her wanting to have more kids..at their age (but, that is not for me to question, in reality). ...and....take a look in the mirror...then, post your blasts....I'm not thinking there will be that many posts about 'how someone looks'. These politicians....on both sides....have to deal with the media. The strange disappearance of Marine Cpl. Wassef Ali Hassoun, reportedly kidnapped in Iraq nearly three weeks ago, grows even more mysterious. Senior Pentagon officials tell NBC News, a man claiming to be Hassoun, called his family in Lebanon and the U.S. embassy in Beirut, saying he was — "released by his kidnappers somewhere in Lebanon" and that he was "waiting to be picked up."

But in Washington, Secretary of State Colin Powell said U.S. officials remain in the dark. "We have received reports that he may be in contact with various individuals and there are other reports that he might be in Lebanon. But we cannot confirm any of these at this time," said Powell.

Late Wednesday, FBI agents showed up at the Hassoun family home in West Jordan, Utah. And Pentagon officials tell NBC News that the Navy has now launched a criminal investigation into Hassoun's disappearance, and the possibility that his kidnapping may be part of an elaborate hoax.

Few clues since disappearance in June Hassoun disappeared from his Marine unit on June 20. He showed up a week later in a hostage-style video, with a sword held over his head and his alleged captors threatening to kill him. Terrorist experts say, however, the group said to have held Hassoun is unknown.

"We don't know whether this group is simply an Internet address. ... We don't know if they were simply fabricated. We have no idea what's going on here," says terrorism expert Steve Emerson.

A second group later claimed Hassoun was beheaded — then retracted that claim. Pending the investigation, military officials refuse to say Hassoun's kidnapping was a hoax, but they point out he had reportedly talked openly about leaving his Marine unit to join his family in Lebanon. Whether he was kidnapped and then released along the way remains a mystery.

Going over to Europe and engaging in an 'excursion' above and beyond something that might not fit into YOUR lifestyle choice...well, that sounds a bit stifling on your part. Perhaps YOUR sexual preferences might not be as challenging as other people's? Europeans have a lifestyle that is a lot more open than ours is...well, open....in that it is more accepted...and, who are you to judge what is considered perverted...between consentual, MARRIED adults? Did the Ryans come back to the US and try to promote a lifestyle that would allow consentual adults to engage in private matters of a sexual nature...beyond the norm of a 'couple'?
Perhaps what he did with his wife...or attempted to do..was not an embarrassment to him.
Please...understand that sex is sex....and we all have our own preferences....the whole thing boils down to privacy....unfortunately, that is lost in the salaciousness of this story.

wow! Sean needs to read that...I love Sean Hannity. He is the working-man's (sorry, I am never PC...we all know who a working man is...you can put in your own WO before the man) talk show host. There are times when he 'works it' a bit too hard or long...on his ditractors' hit pieces...but, all in all...yea...he is 'us'.
Yet, if he says 'hyperbole' (hy-per-bo-lee) one more time...I might tune him out. But, that is what endears me to him...I don't think he is undereducated...what I think is that he is just a guy. He finds a word....and uses it til he can't use it anymore. My word lately is 'absolutely'! My word is better than Sean's...but, we are in a different spectrum. I have a choice, when I am listening to talk radio....Sean or Michael (and I know ya'll know who I am talking about)...I move on down the dial to Sean....Michael makes me wanna shout....'would ya tone it down!!!'. It's worse than nails on a chalkboard...though, I can read Michael....I can't listen.
