This is not a local real estate market boom, this is national, and it is b.s. artificially yanked higher because of low interest rates and forbearance.
What happens when interest rates rise? The price goes down and equity dries up. What happen when forbearance end? Land lords banks try to collect- banks foreclose, landlords lose.
A politician after an election is going to lie, it doesn’t matter what politician. Pay attention in 2 years near the elections and then it will matter.

I might not understand it correctly but it was the Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan (not Jeff but Geee off) ... I’m sure legislative bodies love being told from the executive branch.
If I know anything democrats are opportunist and liars. There is no political gain do give liberal constituents anything until just before an election.
