The thing is, it doesn’t really matter what a person speaks anymore. It all depends on the $. That is about the only real language spoken that everyone listens too. If a company can make more money buy speaking Spanish, they are going to do it. If a person can sue because they can’t speak their own language, they are going to. Heck, a person can sue for being clumsy and spilling their McDonald's coffee on themselves and win! So speak what ever you want, because it all comes down to who has the money and power to know what language to speak. Granted I wish it was English because of where I work, there are some people who speak Spanish and there was a time when they made a mistake. I was asked why didn’t I say that they were making a mistake? I told them that I didn’t know they were going to do that because I don’t speak Spanish and had no idea what they were saying. I don’t care what language a person speaks, but if you are working and talking about work, everyone should speak the same language. Many business fall apart because of no communication between themselves, yet they are to afraid to say anything because of things like the aw suit against supercuts. One common language WHILE working is best for communication between co-workers, on break, they can use any language they want, but with customers, it should be what they want. The customer is always right.
