FULL TITLE: 'FRANCE DESERVES DESTRUCTION': Pro ISIS Messages Spray-painted at Youngstown State University in Ohio . . . University spokeswoman Shannon Tirone says staff discovered the messages when they arrived on campus Monday morning. The messages on the rock outside of the Kilcawley Center read: "We are coming," "France Deserves Destruction" and "YSU supports ISIS." Tirone says employees painted over the messages with white paint and some students plan to re-paint the rock with an American flag. . . . Megyn interviews ex-al Qaeda double agent Morten Storm. Starting at 2:32 on the 11-17-2015 video, he reads from Hadith and the Koran, citing passages that prove beyond a doubt that ISIS' methods are completely in line with Islam. Megyn's reaction at 3:44 was one of stunned horror, as she listened to him and apparently realized for the first time that Islam -- far from being the religion of peace -- is the religion of murder, terror and totalitarianism.

I didn't catch his name, but I'd like to find the video clip of that interview. He read from the Hadith and the Koran, citing passages that proved beyond a doubt that ISIS' methods are completely in line with Islam. Megyn's reaction was one of stunned horror, as she listened to him and apparently realized for the first time that Islam -- far from being the religion of peace -- is the religion of murder, terror and totalitarianism.

Was a teen runner disqualified for wearing a Bible verse? That's the question Fox News commentator Todd Starnes is putting into the national spotlight. On Nov. 7, West Forsyth High School runner John Green finished in 3rd place in the Georgia 5-A cross-country state championship. Immediately afterwards however, he was disqualified for wearing a white headband with a Bible verse on it. The three broadcast networks, ABC, NBC and CBS skipped the story during their morning and evening news shows – although they have covered controversy over religious head attire before. Green's headband read "Isaiah 40:30-31," an appropriate Bible verse...

Director Steven Spielberg, singer James Taylor and multihyphenate Barbra Streisand are set to be awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the Obama administration said on Monday. Producer Emilio Estefan, singer-songwriter Gloria Estefan and conductor Itzhak Perlman are also among Hollywood notables who will receive the honor on Nov. 24 at the White House. Composer Steven Sondheim, who was awarded the honor last year but wasn't able to attend the 2014 ceremony, will be awarded the honor this month. "I look forward to presenting these 17 distinguished Americans with our nation’s highest civilian honor," said the President in a statement. "From...

The far-right wing in both America and Europe have seized on the Paris terror attacks as an excuse to turn away the thousands of desperate refugees who are fleeing the terror and violence of ISIS. Thirteen American governors (all Republican) have announced they will refuse to accept Syrian refugees in their states, demonstrating a remarkable ignorance of Constitutional law. As ThinkProgress noted, "the Supreme Court explained in Hines v. Davidowitz, "the supremacy of the national power in the general field of foreign affairs, including power over immigration, naturalization and deportation, is made clear by the Constitution." States do not get...

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com / AP) - Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker says he's opposed to allowing more Syrian refugees into Massachusetts in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in Paris. The Republican said Monday the safety and security of the people of Massachusetts are his first priority and he would have to know a lot more about the federal government's refugee vetting process before allowing them into the state. "I would certainly say no until I know a lot more than I know now," Baker said. Democratic Boston Mayor Marty Walsh echoed Baker, saying he also wants to know more about how...

He's a freefella now. Bonanno hood Vincent Asaro slammed his fist on the defense table and kissed one of his lawyers on the lips four timesThursday after a jury found him not guilty of pulling off the 1978 Lufthansa heist immortalized in the movie “Goodfellas.†In another stunning blow to prosecutors, the panel also acquitted the 80-year-old gangster of helping another thug strangle a suspected snitch with a dog chain back in 1969. “Free!†a jubilant Asaro, 80, bellowed as he left Brooklyn Federal Court with his arms outstretched like Rocky Balboa. “John Gotti didn’t get this much attention.†Embracing...

Appearing as a guest during the 5:00 p.m. hour of CNN Newsroom with Poppy Harlow on Sunday, liberal CNN political commentator Marc Lamont Hill declared that "the greatest lie in American history is the myth of the self-made person" as he answered a question about why GOP presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson is so popular with white Republicans. My daughter, who is her junior year in high school, is in the second year of the two-year course in American History. Her teacher, who has been out of college for maybe 4-years, is a typical college indoctrinated leftist, who literally spent time in his youth personally hanging around with Howard Zinn. I have been very successful in helping my daughter counter his teachings about Progressivism at the turn of the 20th century, and his presentation of the "Robber Barons" and the evils of capitalism. To his credit, although he has disagreed with her positions and counter arguments, he has...

As art teacher Alisa Leidich sends four vertical lines marching across an oversize drawing pad in paradelike formation, 20 kindergartners put their hands to paper and try their best to mimic her. It’s not as easy as it might seem. Local teachers and occupational therapists say an increasing number of children are showing up for kindergarten without the fine motor skills needed to grip a marker, hold their paper still while coloring or cut and glue shapes. “We’re basically reteaching a lot of things,†says Denver Elementary School’s Denise Young, a teacher for 23 years. “It’s hard to get a...

Soopermexican at The Right Scoop found another definitive Melissa Harris-Perry moment on Saturday morning. In rejoicing over how Bernie Sanders is making America safe for socialism (and socialist critiques of capitalism), she asked her panel why America has always been so persistently opposed to socialism. She had a pet theory. Why could that be? Racism, of course. . . I am finding that I got the malware page warning now every time I click on a link to the original source page. However, I am finding this doesn't happen if you click from the link to the story from the main Forum page, rather than clicking on the link to the FR story page and then clicking to the original source link from there. I'll be interested to know whether this solution works for anybody else.

Now, there’s one of the funnier jabs at Common Core in a while, this one coming via Twitter about a man in Ohio who decided to “put his money where his mouth is.” Full article at: http://www.ijreview.com/2015/09/423809-theres-a-hidden-reason-why-the-check-one-parent-wrote-to-an-elementary-school-is-so-hilarious/?author=kb&utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=owned&utm_campaign=education&utm_term=ijamerica&utm_content=education

This could get entertaining . . . Mark Halperin says that, faced with plunging poll numbers, Hillary's only hope of victory is to "win ugly." Appearing on today's Morning Joe, Halperin explained that by "win ugly" he means drawing invidious comparisons with her opponents, such as emphasizing that Bernie Sanders is a socialist and Trump a billionaire developer. Should we prepare for the Hillary Red Scare? "I have here in my hand a list of 205 socialists in the Sanders campaign!" Though this election cycle was supposed to feature the most impressive field of Republican presidential candidates in decades, a handful of the party’s major donors and bundlers remain underwhelmed by their options. They are longing for the bad old days, and Mitt Romney is still their man. These holdouts continue to hope that the former Massachusetts governor, who said in January he would not run for a third time, will change his mind. They believe he could dispel the chaos that has reigned over the Republican field for months. Though they gave plenty of money to Romney’s presidential campaigns, this...

Back in May or June, after my Dell Laptop crashed and a month of tech support from Dell proved ineffective, they they sent me a new (i.e. refurbished) E6540 laptop (running Windows 7) which I've had for about two months now. All of a sudden, today for the first time, the E6540 has started shutting down randomly for no reason. When I start it up again, it gives me the message about having shut down incorrectly and an option to run Windows in safe mode. This has happened a few times today. I'm running Microsoft Security Essentials, which says the...
