Our Rochester, NY United Way campaign is underway, and perhaps in your area as well. I believe in helping neighbors through individual goodwill, vs. an imposed redistribution system of taxation. I don't however believe in some of the organizations supported by the United Way- such as those that promote or enable abortion, anti-family values, etc. To those considering not making a contribution to United Way because of such issues, I'd kindly like to point out that you may designate all or part of your contribution to specific organizations.
