  • California's demographic revolution

“-—>The poor Mexican immigrants who have fueled the transformation — 84 percent of the state’s Hispanics have Mexican origins — bring an admirable work ethic and a respect for authority too often lacking in America’s native-born population. ...But a sizable portion of Mexican, as well as Central American, immigrants, however hardworking, lack the social capital to inoculate their children reliably against America’s contagious underclass culture. The resulting dysfunction is holding them back and may hold California back as well. <-—”

What an absurd statement. The first sentence is his homage to PC, followed by the second, which is closer to truth. This is not complicated. A country (or city, or state, any place really), is as its demographics are. You replace a first world population with third worlders, you get the expected third world dysfunction. America committed suicide for the sake of false and misguided PC notions. Utter insanity, and we’re not even supposed to speak the truth about it, because to do so makes you an evil ..., well, you know.

If the sun rises in the East it’s a racial matter to Sharpton. He’s a racist through and through. Hates white people with a passion. What an insane country we live in where this ghetto scum has a platform on a television network. Someone should smear some Tawana Brawley and Crown Heights all over him.

  • Gingrich blows chance in crucial final Florida debate

I’m a Newt supporter, but I have to say that Romney bested him in debate last night, which I’m quite surprised by, since Newt used to own every debate stage, and Mitt came off as an unadulterated milquetoast. Mitt won, in my view, by successfully shedding the milquetoast image that he has. Repubs want someone that will aggressively take on Obama; not politely, timidly disagree with him while insisting he’s a fine man. I think Romney’s handlers have successfully got him to stop being so unfailingly polite (which comes across as wuss-like). I’m still voting for Newt, but Romney has been the more effective debater these last 2 in FL (to my dismay).

This is why people dig Gingrich. He’s the only one who viscerates liberal (and might as well add Republican Establishment) foolishness and dishonesty head on. He’s utterly unafraid. I love when he mops the floor with them.

I want no part of weak candidates who will not engage with all they’ve got. Sure, he’s got warts, but I love his fight. We need a street fighter, not a milquetoast (like Romney, or McCain before him).

Fox News is relentlessly dragging out people to trash Gingrich for the last week. It’s quite disgusting what they’re doing to Newt. The Republican establishment is totally in the tank for Romney.

It’s really rich when Ann freaking Coulter (who I used to like) talks about Newt saying outrageous things. Rush has it exactly right.

  • GOP candidates for Congress bullish on Gingrich at top of ticket

I’m enthusiastically backing Newt. I think he’s inspiring and we need a fighter who can eviscerate Obama. One who can articulate a conservative message better than anyone in recent memory, and one who will utterly destroy Obama in debate and in print. Everybody else running as a Republican I’d have to hold my nose and vote for, because they’re all better than Obama, but I’m so tired of settling. I actually am enthusiastic about Newt.

Newt will once again dominate the debate and he’ll get a new surge in the polls. The Republican establishment REALLY doesn’t like Newt, though. Rove bashes him and pushes Romney every time he gets a chance to. O’Reilly does likewise, as does Krautheimer, and Bennett, etc, etc.

I’m done with milquetoasts like Dole, BushII, McCain, and now Romney. I want someone who will take the FIGHT to Obama and the media in his pocket, and Newt will do that.

...But no Republican candidate is going to get any traction in the campaign by advocating deportation — which the Dems would promptly frame as a humanitarian crisis. The Repub would not have to advocate deportation. Simply turn off all benefits and they'll self deport. Strict enforcement of E-Verify and heavy, heavy penalties for employers who hire them, and they'll simply leave. No welfare, no jobs, and they'll self deport.
