The Passion took in 3+ times as much as F9/11 despite being spat on by the media wing of the DNC. Are there 3 times as many Evangelicals as there are drooling moron Bush haters? I think so, but we'll find out for sure tomorrow.

Good 'ol 10th Mountain Division. Those Fort Drum guys are the best. I travel through that area of NY regularly. Funny how you get a feeling of safety walking the mall when every 3rd guy you see is wearing a crew cut and GI boots. Some of the most courageous and respectful human beings I know work out of Fort Drum. Good to see they behave the same on deployment. Watertown is definitely safe from Al Quaeda.

To my way of thinking, the VVAW CAUSED US soldiers deaths, although they may have shortened the war. By giving aid and comfort to the NVA through massive morale boosting propaganda (testifying/perjury before the Fullbright commission), Kerry helped the North to keep up the fight. Part of our effort to win the war was breaking the will of the reds - which can be hard to do when fraudulent "veterans" like Kerry are parading through the Mall with a VC flag. The war may have been shorter with JFingK involved - but more American boys died over there because the VC fought harder with him as a cheerleader.

Protesting against the war is all well and good, but calling true Veterans murderers, baby killers and rapists TOTALLY without evidence should be a criminal offense. There were groups who protested without vilifying the troops, notably the Quakers. Kerry chose the path of casting filth on ALL vets.

Conduct that hurts this country? Oh, you mean like what John Kerry did. He collaborated with the NVA - he was just lucky enough not to be captured by them first.

A statewide poll released last week by the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute had Kerry leading the Democratic pack with 78 percent of New York State prison inmates favoring his candidacy to only 33 percent for Edwards and 5 percent for Che Guevara. Kerry was found to hold a much slimmer margin among another prime Democratic constituency - the deceased. Only 49 percent of dead people polled planned to vote for Kerry. Being dead himself, Mr Guevara took 51 percent of the room-temperature vote.

Anyone who puts ANY credence in opinion polls a year from the election has serious mental problems.

It's nice that Canada feels so giddy with openness. I'm sure it warms the heart of every Al Qaeda sleeper out there. Also, it's truly generous of Ottawa to volunteer for the next attack. Publicizing an attitude of lax border security is probably not the best strategy in the current global climate. Perhaps they'd like to paint giant bulls-eyes on several large Canadian buildings to make the terrorist's job easier?

I imagine this type of Canadian snobbery will continue right up until Osama decides to take down a few thousand of those "civil" North Americans. I don't wish such a thing on anyone, but it's not like the Canucks haven't been warned. At least they know where to go for security advice the day after ...

Since my son was born, I keep newspapers from historical events and important articles off the web for him to read when he gets old enough. This one goes near the top of the heap. High school kids should have to memorize this guy's story.

As an aside, I was in another forum today where some snot-nose was whining about how GW Bush and John Ashcroft were using the Patriot act to turn the USA into Nazi Germany. I'll be forwarding this link to the brat. Maybe he'll learn something.
