Okay, what would you do? A friend just showed up at our house because her monther-in-law is at her house. She does not want to go home as long as her in-laws are there. She simply will not be in the same house with her in-laws, even if it is her own house. But now she is in our house. What to do? I don't think I've ever seen a situation like this. It is not a case of her in-laws having done anything to her. She just does not like them. What to do?

An owner of the hotel in NY was said to be refusing to refund a weddeing deposit of a soldier that was shipped off to the Gulf and could not keep the reservation. I just call the hotel and the owener says he is refunding the money. It was a $5,000 deposit. I'm posting this as a seperate thread because it may get missed, buried in the other thread reporting that the owner was not going to refund the deposit.
