Original The Director of Drug Control Policy Jim Johnson tells 13 news there were 10 heroin overdoses in Huntington on Monday. The 10 overdoses reported happened over a 90 minute period. METHUEN, Mass. —An 86-year-old Massachusetts woman needed to be rescued by firefighters over the weekend after she was left behind at a dialysis clinic in Methuen that had closed for the day. Fire Chief Scott Sullivan says rescuers came to the aid of Maureen Perry just before 4 p.m. Saturday. The Wilmington woman was taken for treatment to the Fresenius Dialysis Center, where she remained three hours after it closed.

FRANKLIN, Ohio – An officer in Ohio went above and beyond after finding a 7-year-old boy wandering alone, trying to sell his teddy bear for food, WLWT reports. Officer Steve Dunham saw the boy wandering around a busy area in downtown Franklin all by himself. “It broke my heart. He told me he was trying to sell his stuffed animal to get money for food because he hadn’t eaten in several days,” Dunham told WLWT. Dunham bought the child some food from Subway and took him to the Franklin police Department.

Race agitators in Milwaukee used the police shooting of an unarmed armed black man to burn down their city and attack white people. MILWAUKEE – A Milwaukee police officer shot and killed an armed suspect Saturday night during a foot chase on the city’s north side, setting off a violent confrontation between police and crowds protesting the shooting. A gas station was set on fire and other businesses also were torched following an hours-long standoff between rioters and police, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported. Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke asked Gov. Scott Walker on Sunday morning for the National Guard to be mobilized, FOX6 reported.

Filmmaker Tracy Droz Tragos hopes that her new documentary, “Abortion: Stories Women Tell,” will move people to compassion when they listen to women share the difficult circumstances that led them to choose abortion.
