Funny video and his point really makes sense. I want Thompson for President and Gingrich for VP. The more I watch them, the more I like. They would make a great team..
Yes, and Latvia and Lthuania as well. At first they agreed that only Estonia should belong to the USSR, but later changed their deal. All three Baltic countries including my native Lithunia suffered a lot.. People still can’t forget those times, but now we all are really happy to be in NATO and the EU..
Those monuments have to be removed or even destroyed. In Lithuania we don’t have this problem. They weren’t destroyed but they all were removed from public places about 10 years ago and with little opposition from Russia. They all are placed in one museum. Well, at that time Russia was much more democratic and it’s politicians didn’t search for enemies as much as they do that now.
The Europeans are prone to self-censorship so much. The more the better. One day they will find themselves wrong and will be shocked by what they have done. And then they will say "enough", and that will be a big "enough".
Agree, he has already been given too much time to make politics speeches right there in the courtroom. Maybe I am radical here a little , but the trial looks like a nonsense: Saddam is constantly allowed to speak political speeches, the principal judge was loyal to him, etc. It's high time he was "ended". IMO, he should have been shot in that rathole when he was found...
Well, they have no concept of patriotism or state, this can be called treason. I think that as many as possible Iraqi army units should be mixed and sent to remote areas, even though they protest it. It is the best way, as commanders say, to cut their loyalty ties to local militias and improve their performance. American commanders should pursue this strategy agressively.
It's high time. Would be a very positive decision, imo. The more troops, the better. And they must be provided with all the means they need to crush those rats. The problem is that politicians are worried about money and their political capital, but soldiers lives are and should be more precious. If there were more troops, there would be more progress, at least in Baghdad, as generals say, and fewer war casualties...
