The NFL's new COVID-19 protocols are based on data that shows the disease is not spreading from asymptomatic individuals, according to chief medical officer Allen Sills, a significant departure from the stance of public health authorities for much of the pandemic.

Has anybody else found their comments on articles at conservative news sites being blocked since last week? First it was BB that was blocking all my comments, with that "Hold on there, awaiting moderation" thing that comes up. Well, just now, a comment did post for me there. Maybe they have a bunch of key words that trigger the block. But none of my past comments was particularly incendiary or in any way advocated violence. Then, today, DC blocked one of my comments on an article about a woman being charged over taking a teen out of the US for...

Found this video from red state dot com, but apparently cannot post the article here. Perhaps the hand off was of something completely legitimate, but why the attempt at secrecy.

In a move President Trump said will reduce car prices but will also anger environmental groups, the administration is revoking California's authority to set strict fuel economy standards. Trump announced the move Wednesday, saying the decision was made “in order to produce far less expensive cars for the consumer,” while making cars safer at the same time.

Blessing was only six years old when her mother arranged for her to become an unpaid housemaid for a family in the Nigerian city of Abuja, on the promise they would put her through school. In her home town in southwest Nigeria, her mother had trouble making enough money to feed her three children. But when Blessing arrived in Abuja, instead of going to school, the family worked her round-the-clock, beat her with an electrical wire if she forgot one of her chores and fed her rotten leftovers.
  • Rush Limbaugh climate change story today-warming goes back 20,000 years?

Today, Rush talked about a story regarding "climate change", which tracked the warming back 20,000 years to the last glacial maximum. Did anybody get the source of the story? I would like to read it and pass it on to my children, so that they don't get hoodwinked and scared into voting for Democrats. I looked for a Rush Limbaugh thread today, but did not find one.

Rush says CNN report claims deep state launched a Trump investigation in the days BEFORE the appointment of Mueller. The purpose was apparently to "reign in" Trump. Huh? Reign in Trump? What about reigning in Obama??!! When Obama began to apologize for America around the world, were they not at all concerned? When Obama was caught on a hot mic, saying to a RUSSIAN that he would "have more flexibility after his election", were they not concerned? When Obama began to re-write by fiat certain US laws, such as those governing illegal immigration(DACA), were they not concerned? These deep state...
  • Warning: Miami-Dade County Florida is corrupt, sends bogus parking citation

Just a heads up to anyone who may experience something similar. First, I have been a resident of TX since 1972 and have never lived in Florida. This last March, I received a parking citation from Miami-Dade County, Florida for "RESTRICTED OR IMPROPER PARKING" on 02/12/2018. Somehow, they found my TX license plate number for one of my vehicles. The first problem is, neither I nor any of my vehicles has been in Florida since 2015. In 2015, I was in the panhandle of Florida. I have never been in Miami. Secondly, the citation indicates the offending vehicle as a...

Yesterday, it came to my attention that the head of the math department at a Texas public university is engaging in political activism with students. What this professor did was to include IN A MATH EXAM a question about the Kavanaugh nomination. The question, roughly was, "Should Brett Kavanaugh be confirmed to SCOTUS? 1. No 2. Hell, no. 3. Never in a million years." Apparently, the professor's justification was that the student would get credit for answering the question, regardless of what answer they chose. And this person is quite unapologetic about it. But the point is, why is a...

As the Senate awaits the results of the FBI investigation into the Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, Jeff Flake, one of the lawmakers who spurred the inquiry, criticized the judge Tuesday for his recent appearance in the upper chamber. Speaking with Jeffrey Rosen, the president of the National Constitution Center, and Democratic Senator Chris Coons at The Atlantic Festival on Tuesday morning, Flake called the judge’s interactions with lawmakers “sharp and partisan.” “We can’t have that on the Court,” said the Arizona senator, who didn’t elaborate on which interactions he was referring to.

Asia Nader didn't know whether to worry more about being diagnosed with a hole in her heart at the age of 21, or having to wait a year for Swedish doctors to fix it. "I completely fell apart when I found out," she told AFP, remembering the long agonising months until she finally had her operation in June this year, one month before her 23rd birthday.

Sen. Ted Cruz said Saturday he would not support the bipartisan deals being brokered in Congress that could allow some undocumented immigrants a path to citizenship. “I understand it’s easy for folks in the media to advocate for amnesty,” Cruz told reporters at an event on Saturday in Tyler. “I can tell you the people of Texas don’t support it.”

Blood has always been known as “the Gift of Life” and a growing number of Bay Area researchers are currently trying to isolate a factor in blood that may turn back the hands of time. “We don’t know how soon we’re going to defeat aging,” proclaimed Aubrey de Grey. “We should be able to keep people truly in a youthful state of health, no matter how long they live and that means the risk of death will not rise.”

House Republicans claim the tax plan they introduced Thursday keeps the top individual rate unchanged at 39.6 percent—the level at which it’s been capped for much of the past quarter-century. But a little-noticed provision effectively creates a new band in which income is taxed at over 45 percent.

The NFL said on Friday it has no plans to mandate players stand for the U.S. national anthem, but will rather present a possible solution on how to end the controversial protests when it meets with team owners next week. Jacksonville Jaguars players kneel before the national anthem before their NFL football game against the New York Jets in East Rutherford, New Jersey, U.S. October 1, 2017. REUTERS/Eduardo Munoz Commissioner Roger Goodell, along with the head of the NFL Players Association, will meet with the owners from Oct. 17-18 in New York where the issue of player protests during the...

So far, nobody seems to be able to come up with any motive at all as to why Paddock would do this. Could Paddock have become so sociopathic that he would slaughter and wound hundreds of innocent people, specifically to harm or get back at the casino industry? Maybe so. We're told that he had become quite wealthy and owned multiple houses. Is it possible that he had become so obsessed with wealth that he developed some sort of "Gollom" syndrome, in which he became completely materialistic, as well as selfish and devoid of normal human affectation towards others? Well,...

Google fired the worker whose controversial leaked memo claimed the company had an “ideological echo chamber” that alienated conservatives, according to multiple reports late Monday. The engineer, identified as James Damore, emailed Bloomberg to say he was fired for “perpetuating gender stereotypes.” Recode also reported the firing, citing sources. Google did not immediately comment. Earlier, CEO Sundar Pichai reportedly sent a note to employees saying that part of the engineer's memo violated the company’s Code of Conduct by advancing “harmful gender stereotypes.” The memo suggested women had biological issues that prohibited them from being equally as successful as their male...
