I’m a 77 year old female with urinary tract issues. I learned that sugar is toxic to the kidneys so I’ve stopped eating and drinking anything with sugar but I miss my sweets. Don’t like the aftertaste of Equal, but I Googled Splenda and it says it is not toxic to the kidneys and, to me, it tastes just like sugar. So now I learn that Splenda has health risks. I give up!

I keep hearing that the Republicans should be blamed because they control both Houses. Not true! The Republicans in both Houses have voted to keep the govt. open. But the Dems, by filibustering, have the numbers to keep it closed.

Back in the 1930s my grandmother was constantly on the move. My grandfather would come home from work and find a note on the door,”We have moved to (such and such) address.”

The Republicans don’t control the Senate as long as the Democrats have the majority in filibustering.
