Sorry for the vanity here, and I know this is a minor issue that can be dealt with, but I'm curious if other FReepers are encountering the same issue. Following the raid on Trump's personal home I sent him, and a number of other Trump candidates, a political contribution. And yes, I also contributed to FR, as I do every quarter. But holy cow. Since making those contributions I am now getting an email from Trump, or someone associated with his campaign, about every twenty or thirty minutes. I am not exaggerating. About three to four emails every single waking...

Moments ago Mary from the National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC) just called and asked for a donation to help Senate Republicans help fight the Democrats and regain the majority. I could not believe my ears. I literally just finished posting here on FreeRepublic about the Republican Senators who handed Biden a bipartisan victory and thrust the final bankruptcy dagger into America with the infrastructure bill. I politely, but firmly, told Mary I was Trump supporter and it was an insult to receive this call immediately after Senate Republicans just finished collaborating with Democrats on passing the infrastructure bill. It was...

They now ask for privacy and continued prayers during this difficult time." Enzi’s family said he was admitted to UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado. He was unconscious and unable to recover from his injuries, which included a broken neck and ribs, the family said.

YouTube has now become completely unwatchable. Every video is saturated with Obama telling us someone is going to steal their power and someone is going to steal their Democracy. Every single video, at least one or two times per video.

As daily life across America is upended by the coronavirus crisis -- with mass business closures plunging the economy into freefall -- one former New York Times reporter is sounding the alarm about what he believes are flawed models dictating the aggressive strategy. Alex Berenson has been analyzing the data on the crisis on a daily basis for weeks and has come to the conclusion that the strategy of shutting down entire sectors of the economy is based on modeling that doesn’t line up with the realities of the virus.

Evers signed an Executive Order Monday afternoon to delay Tuesday's in-person voting due to COVID-19 concerns. The order also directs the Legislature to meet in Special Session on Tuesday to address the election date. If the Legislature does not enact legislation to change the new election date, in-person voting will occur on June 9.

Gov. Tony Evers on Monday said he is preparing to order Wisconsinites to stay in their homes starting this week to fend off the coronavirus outbreak that is ravaging populations worldwide. The governor's order will require nearly all workers in the state to work remotely or lose their jobs by closing all workplaces that aren't deemed essential. Restaurants and bars may stay open but only for delivery and curbside pick-up orders. The Democratic governor made the announcement on Twitter just three days after saying he did not think he would have to issue such an order but that he would...

The Boy Scouts of America is considering filing for bankruptcy protection as it faces dwindling membership and escalating legal costs related to lawsuits over how it handled allegations of sex abuse. Leaders of the Boy Scouts, one of the country’s largest youth organizations, have hired law firm Sidley Austin LLP for assistance with a possible chapter 11 bankruptcy filing, according to people familiar with the matter.

Taking all of these factors into account, I believe we are going through a necessary correction prior to the next upleg, which should occur after the mid-term election, regardless as to whether the Democrats take control of the House of Representatives or not. Earnings will continue to drive the market and the prospects for earnings growth in the U.S. for 2019 remain strong in spite of what is happening elsewhere in the world.

Comparable store sales also tumbled 4 percent during the quarter ended Aug. 4, more than expected, which was partly blamed on changes in Under Armour's UAA strategy.

A University of Wisconsin-Madison study shows that the shift of more than 7 million acres into cropland led to massive releases of carbon emissions into the atmosphere after a 2007 federal law mandated ethanol in gasoline. The increased carbon emissions is equivalent to 20 million new cars driving down American roadways every year, according to the researchers' estimates in the study released Wednesday.

It's pretty common knowledge that Hillary has not driven a car in years and is driven everywhere. Why is this? Here is what I propose some brave Journ-O-List ask: "Mrs. Clinton, we know the vast rightwing conspiracy groups have as of late raised speculation regarding your health as a presidential candidate. Please put an end to this tawdry discussion." "By your own account we know you have not driven a car in years." 1) "Do you have a driver's license? If not, why not?" 2) "If you don't have a driver's license then is there any physical reason that would...

Here, in part, is the latest fundraising email from Paul Ryan.If we lose the White House and Congress, there won't be anything stopping Nancy Pelosi from rubber-stamping every single radical policy Hillary puts forward. This isn't a what-if scenario. This is a real possibility. I hope you'll join me in fighting to preserve and grow our majority in Congress:
