I had a cousin that was evading the draft from World War II up until his death three years ago. I think I will remember Ken Salazar's broken promise a lot longer than that. Being a Colorado voter, I will make my displeasure known where it counts - at the ballot box.

I wrote about militarizing the border a couple of times on my own blog, Old Patriot's Pen. I haven't posted anything on the Minutemen because I'm still researching the entire US/Mexico border theme. So far, I've downloaded 884mb of data, and that's not all by any means. As a retire AF NCO, I'm willing to be "recalled, rearmed, and recycled" to guard our southern border. Of course, that will only encourage the terrorists to use our northern border, which is equally porous and poorly defended. Canada isn't QUITE as bad as Mexico, but only because most Canadians still want to live there, even under a Liberal government.

1055 would put it on the east side of Academy Boulevard. If I remember correctly, it's in the Office Depot shopping area, to the north of the Social Security office, and behind Captain D's. I'll try to make a point to stop by - I only live about eight blocks north of there.

Just checked the telephone book: Office Depot is at 1045 N. Academy. Social Security is at 1049 N. Academy. The Army and MARINES have a recruiting office at 1055 N. Academy. These jokers may not have realized the Marines were there, too... It's gonna be funny!
