Sometimes it can be difficult to watch the news. There are tragedies and travesties of justice, stories that provoke sadness, anger and sometimes even hostility. The Senate is currently taking up yet another stopgap bill to fund an extension of unemployment benefits for an additional month while work continues on a more comprehensive longer term fix. Most of you have probably read the recent stories about Kevin Jennings and the depraved sexual material his group GLSEN has been pushing on our kids.
