  • VANITY- Creative Freeper Graphic Request

    06/28/2011 1:48:28 PM PDT · by philled · 5 replies
I'm in want of a new bumpersticker and multi-purpose graphic that sums it all up for me. I don't have a candidate that I am "all-in" for (yet) and I'm not about to let Obama's "Bitter Clingers" label of the great unwashed be forgotten. Are there any creative photoshop/graphics wizards out there that could generate an image that I could turn into a sticker? I am imagining "Bitter Clinger" with a cross for a "T" and the Glock logo for the "G". Anyone want to give it a shot? Thank you!
  • Vanity Info: Entry-level Trap Gun

I no longer hunt often- usually pheasant a few times a year and a day or two of spring turkey, if I'm lucky. Accordingly, I'm down to two shotguns- a Remington 870 Wingmaster I've had forever and a camo Benelli Nova. I've been shooting sporting clays and trap sporadically over the summer and enjoy it. I use my 870 as I've literally shot it for half of my life. I'd like to shoot trap on a regular basis with the thought of joining a league next year. I'm looking for recommendations for an entry-level trap gun. I'd like to spend...
  • VANITY* Photo Request

I apologize for the vanity post but have a photo request. I wiped the drive of my old laptop clean before I donated it and now realize that I did not save one that I wanted. There was a photo from 2003 of a Rosary draped over the main gun of a Bradley. It may have even appeared on Drudge as I hadn't yet discovered FR. Does anyone have or remember it? Thank you.

Argus Leader story Can't excerpt due to copyright restrictions, but please take a few minutes to read the profile of one of our best and brightest recently fallen in Iraq. Robb was the combination of things that most people wish that they could at least be one of: smart, athletic, inventive, handsome, driven, and able to do what he dreamed of doing. He was a midwestern boy that loved MacGyver, attended an prestigious college (earning a degree in astrophysics) on scholarship, was an athletic hero, and following 9/11, became a hero of the highest measure when he joined and became...

I apologize for the Vanity post but know that there are some real estate professionals on FR. I have never used a realtor before- our current home was FSBO and a quick and easy transaction. Here is the scenario that I am seeking opinions on: We now have two small children and our quaint Arts and Crafts bungalow is rapidly becoming too small. It was perfect before we had children and we would spend part of the year at a family home in the UK. We have found a larger (2500 sq ft) recent construction (purchased but lived in for...
  • *VANITY* The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien

For an AP Literature course, my niece (a senior in public high school) has just been assigned The Things they Carried by Tim O'Brien. I have not yet read it and am curious as to the motivation behind it just now being added as an assignment. Given the debunking of the Massey tale, I am interested in hearing the opinions or reviews from those who served in Viet Nam. Unlike Massey, O'Brien lists his work as fiction. Anyone read it? Hatchet-job or a good book? Did it leave any impressions?
