Congratulations America. We are no longer in the era of individual liberty, personal responsibility and the freedom of self-reliance. We are now fully a nation of big screen tvs and rims on credit, participation trophies, and American Idol. Spending on food stamps and "entitlements" are at all-time highs. Apparently that's a good thing. Saving money and living within our means is for suckers. No need to balance the budget when we can just heap the debt on the backs of future generations.
