My 2 cents... as much as I’d like to be excited by this, I’m expecting for one of them to pop off at the mouth about how they don’t want to go to the WH or some such nonsense.

Still stuck here. My mom is done making moves (she’s 80) and I figure she supported me when I needed it so I’m going to hang out and be here for her.
Big question is where to after this? Sick of snow and I don’t do well in the heat of the deep south. Hopefully I’ll have a while to figure it out (keep on, keepin’ on, mom!)

I’ve stayed away from MSM for quite a while now and hadn’t seen much of Tucker Carlson to really know what he was about. Until the past couple of days. He can put down some serious beatings. Impressive.
If Shill won and were interviewed by Stahl, you can bet that question would never have been asked. I'm sure the questions would have been a lot less confrontational. For example, as soon as the question about taking up the cause of cyberbullying, I looked at my wife and held up 5 fingers. Counting down I said “watch, she'll now ask if she'll start with her husband”. EXACTLY five seconds later, that's precisely what happened. So glad I had kitchen duty tonight so I didn't have to watch most of it.
You are very welcome. I was joking to my Mom (until I realized I wasn’t) that these days make me long for the Carter days. Still trying to get my head around that.
She and I are going to be working on our pistol permits over the holiday break before it’s too late. She’s in her 70’s and is ready to rock. Unfortunately we live in the Peoples Socialist Republic of Connecticut so it wouldn’t surprise me if a$$hat Malloy decides he wants to shut down any new applications. Of course it’s not legal but he doesn’t care.
Oh, and lest I forget... merry CHRISTmas! Take care and God bless.
It’s a lot of fun to go through those. Big time memory lane for me. My favs were always the GI Joe’s. I’m still kicking myself for selling my epic collection when my parents moved in 78 thinking I had out grown it. If I’d only known eBay was 20 years away (or whatever). I wound up re-buying an original Mobile Support Vehicle (Radioactive Satellite) for my kid off eBay about 10 years ago. Sad part was he wasn’t half as excited as I was about it. What with Nintendo DS’ and stuff it’s no wonder. Silly me.
