From Politco: "On Wednesday, a lifelong friend, Major Tom Kennedy, an Army Ranger, was killed by a suicide bomber while serving in Afghanistan. We grew up playing hockey together, and went to high school together (where we played) before he went to West Point. He was in the first infantry to ride into the Iraq airport, and was on his fourth tour. Tommy leaves behind two little twins, Maggie and Brody, who turn two next month.
