I think a much better type of voting system needs to be put in place nationwide. I don't like the idea of voting over the Internet, as some would suggest, because if Microsoft can be hacked...well, you get the point. This system would require that all voter registration rolls be tossed out. EVERY American needs to be required to re-register, showing proof of citizenship to do so. This entire system would require a Constitutional Amendment to require that all states adhere to the Federal guidelines regarding voting systems. Here’s what I propose doing after that: 1) Each county or precinct ...
  • A Plausible Scenario? You Tell Me!

I’m going to describe a scenario for you that I find to be very plausible and that may well indicate exactly what is going on here. Please read and post your comments and suggestions. Suppose that you are a liberal Washington insider with strong connections nationwide in all of the usual liberal strongholds, such as California, Maryland, Massachusetts, Washington state, Michigan, etc.. Suppose further that your reputation has been tarnished irreparably during the time of your service as Vice-President of the United States by your continued support of the sitting President despite his moral and ethical shortcomings, not to mention ...

The presidential election will say more about the American people than it will about the candidates. You have Al Gore, who has the support of the homosexual crowd, the infanticide crowd, the feminist crowd, the socialist crowd and the Hollywood crowd. You have George Bush, who is supported by the pro-life crowd, the pro-Constitution crowd, the military crowd and the pro-traditional-values crowd. Don't let anyone tell you there isn't a clear choice. I've said from the beginning that I think that Gore doesn't belong in the White House. I'm tired of a bunch of low lifes who hold the military ...

  • Reasons To Vote Republican

    10/25/2000 8:12:33 PM PDT · by RightFighter · 200+ views
I need some help compiling a list of "Reasons To Vote Republican". I'd like to put this list together and then hang it in my office, on the street corner, at the mall, etc.. Here's a start: 1) Republicans trust people over government. 2) Republicans believe in personal responsibility. 3) Four words: Clinton is a Democrat! 4) Republicans stand on principle rather than seeking popularity. ....you get the idea Please post your own ideas here or email them to me. I'll compile the best of them and come up with the "official" reasons that you can share with friends. Thanks.

Sunday, October 22, 2000 Bush set to stump in Volusia this week By THAD RUETER (thad.rueter@news-jrnl.com) Staff Writer George W. Bush plans to come to Daytona Beach on Wednesday, trying in the presidential campaign's last weeks to lock up support in what political observers call a must-win state. Bush and former presidential rival John McCain are expected to make a stop in Daytona Beach early Wednesday morning, people involved with the Republican campaign said Saturday. Final details still were being worked out Saturday, said Leo DiBenigno, spokesman for Florida Bush/Cheney 2000. Bush and McCain will appear at the Embry-Riddle ...
