TEL AVIV, May 15 (Reuters) - The Eurovision Song Contest has found few fans in a famous mosque in the Israeli host city, where worshippers have complained that the gaudy festivities are disrupting their observances of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. A "Eurovision Village" pavilion set up on the Tel Aviv beachfront to host parties is located directly opposite the century-old Hassan Bek mosque, named after an Ottoman governor and frequented by Israeli Arabs from nearby Jaffa. The 41-country songfest has been a focus of pro-Palestinian boycott calls, and some Muslims fasting daily as part of Ramadan resent the...

I invited my dear friend Garry Rodgers — retired homicide detective with a second career as a forensic coroner — to share a fascinating post about the real cause of Elvis Presley’s death. Prepare to be wowed. Welcome to TKZ, Garry! Elvis Presley suddenly dropped in the bathroom of his Graceland mansion on the afternoon of August 16, 1977. Elvis was rushed to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, where he was pronounced dead, then shipped to the morgue and autopsied the same afternoon. Three days later, the Memphis County coroner issued Elvis Presley’s death certificate stating the cause as...

Sometimes a scandal is not just a scandal, but a biopsy of a society. So it is with the assault on Sir Roger Scruton, who in recent weeks has been smeared in the media, fired by the government and had his life’s work assailed. Scruton is the latest, though far from the first victim of the modern outrage mob. It is now four years since the Nobel prize-winning scientist Tim Hunt was fired by University College London (among other institutions who were lucky to have him). That happened after one member of the audience at a conference in Korea tweeted...

As the Director of the Office of Personnel Management, Kay Coles James oversaw a federal civilian workforce of 1.8 million responsible for $650 billion. James chairs the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commission and OPM recently celebrated her tenure as part of Women’s History Month. She had also been Virginia’s Secretary of Health and Human Resources, she sits on three corporate boards, and is a member of the NASA Advisory Council. She’s also an African-American conservative woman. It’s hard to know which of these three elements of her identity attracted the most fury from leftists after Google appointed her to its external...

Just eight weeks after playing its first games, the Alliance of American Football (AAF) will be suspending football operations by the end of Tuesday, according to sources. Tom Dundon effectively bought a majority stake in the league in mid-February, with the league announcing his commitment of $250 million. It later became clear that Dundon, who owns the Carolina Hurricanes, was funding the league on a week-to-week basis, with his approximate total commitment being $70 million to this point. After the deal with Dundon, sources say it became clear to league co-founders Charlie Ebersol and Bill Polian that Dundon’s objectives were...

[Truncated headline] This is the original: A Native American tribe will cover the costs of the funerals for all of the Alabama tornado victims (CNN)Often times the worst situations will bring out the best in people. That's proving true once again, this time in southeastern Alabama, where residents are still reeling from an outbreak of tornadoes that killed 23 people this week. But their loved ones won't have to worry, at least, about the costs of the funerals. A Native American tribe says it will cover the funeral and burial expenses for all the victims of Sunday's tornadoes. The Poarch...

Did you watch either of the American Football Alliance games? Three-million other fans and I watched the San Diego Fleet vs. the San Antonio Commanders. Here are my opinionated observations . . .

The Mueller investigation is expected to be concluded in the coming month but what about the FBI investigation being conducted by Michael Horowitz? All evidence points to no Russian collusion but the American people deserve to see what Mueller has been doing in the past year as well as what Mr. Horowitz has found. It seems that the whole premise is now corrupt. [Introductory statement to the video]

As the ongoing partial government shutdown trudges on, Trump is only digging his heels in further as he fights to secure the country’s borders. Most Democrats, who have staunchly held onto their open borders rhetoric, almost seem eager to let this nonsense drag on as long as possible, government workers be damned. But there is a growing belief among leftists and Democrats that their steadfastness may be playing right into the deal-making hands of the president. Watching that grim reality dawn on them has beep utterly priceless. Take, for instance, liberal Donny Deutsch visibly losing his mind on camera on...

In our book “Rogue Spooks: The Intelligence War Against Donald Trump,” published in August of 2017, my wife Eileen McGann and I wrote that the Steele dossier was likely the product of a conspiracy centered in the U.S. Department of Justice and the FBI to deny Donald Trump the presidency. We wrote that ex-spy Christopher Steele had compiled the dossier before the 2016 election to try to frame Trump for colluding with Moscow to meddle in the contest. We wrote that Steele frantically tried to get the dossier published the before the election and worked with the DOJ to do...

Democratic National Committee chair Tom Perez was quick to pronounce young democratic socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez the "future" of his party following her surprising primary win in June. Since that time, she's offered "pants on fire" takes about the U.S. unemployment rate, supported and then immediately retracted that support for a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians, confessed to not being an "expert" on geopolitics after calling the Israeli military massacrers, and fretted about "black sites" run by Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. And that's after less than a month!

An Iranian general has accused Israel of ‘manipulating weather’ to prevent rain over the Islamic republic – aka, stealing the country’s clouds. Brigadier General Gholam Reza Jalali, head of Iran’s Civil Defence Organisation, alleged that his country was facing cloud ‘theft’ during a press conference. However he was later contradicted by the nation’s weather chief.

A former adviser to President Bill Clinton, Dick Morris, predicted Republicans will overwhelmingly win during the midterms because Democrats are focused on issues that aren't a voting factor to most of the country. During an interview on “The Cats Roundtable,” Morris explained that in the 1990s when he worked for Clinton, Republicans thought they had a “gold mine” when the Monica Lewinsky scandal came out. While Republicans only talked about impeachment and the scandal, when election time came, Democrats gained seats, which is what he predicts will happen come midterms.

I'm just not understanding: is it possible that the President is going to be impeached?

NEW YORK – It has been five months since the FBI arrested 10 men in a sweeping federal probe into the underbelly of the basketball world. As the three ongoing criminal cases resulting from the investigation plod along, it’s increasingly unlikely there will be another wave of double-digit arrests. More legal charges still could come, but what’s becoming increasingly clear as the discovery portion of the case comes to a close is that the breadth of potential NCAA rules violations uncovered is wide enough to fundamentally and indelibly alter the sport of college basketball. The soundtrack to the three federal...

A senior Justice Department official was demoted on Wednesday amid an ongoing House intelligence committee investigation into his contacts with Fusion GPS, the firm responsible for the Trump dossier, according to Fox News. Bruce G. Ohr, who was until Wednesday associate deputy attorney general, met during the 2016 campaign with the author of the dossier, Christopher Steele, according to evidence obtained by committee investigators. Ohr also met “shortly after” the election with Glenn Simpson, co-founder of Fusion GPS, investigators also found. Congressional sources told Fox News that Simpson and Ohr met sometime around Thanksgiving last year, when President-elect Trump was...

I have not been able to get YouTube to work since Sunday. I have posted this question on Facebook, and some say they can get YT on their phones, others have said they have gotten the site to work after rebooting by disconnecting their modems for about 30 seconds. None of these have worked for me. The site, isitdownrightnow.com has been pinging the site several times a day, apparently without success. It has this statement posted: We have tried pinging Youtube website using our server and the website returned the above results. If youtube.com is down for us too there...
