Police shot and killed an unarmed teen who ran away from a traffic stop Tuesday night in East Pittsburgh, authorities said. Authorities identified the dead teen as 17-year-old Antwon Rose, a Woodland Hills High School student who district officials said was one English class shy of graduating. He had been riding in a car linked to a non-fatal shooting 13 minutes earlier on North Braddock's Kirkpatrick Avenue, according to Allegheny County police. A man driving a dump truck rammed through a security gate of the FBI Headquarters on the South Side Tuesday, an FBI spokesman said. The driver was injured and transported to a hospital, but no one else was hurt, said Special Agent Greg Heeb. Fayette County Commissioner Vincent Vicites was shot early Sunday in his residence in South Union, county District Attorney Richard Bower said. Bower said he was meeting with Uniontown state police Sunday afternoon, and that the shooting remained under investigation. Pittsburgh City Council on Monday approved an ordinance requiring city employers to give employees paid sick days, despite opposition from business owners and organizations who have promised a lawsuit challenging the legislation.
