I need help here. The motherboard in one of our computers fried, and I've had to replace it (and the CPU, RAM, HDD, and case). I've done a clean install of Windows XP Pro SP1a, and I'll be installing MS Office 2003 today. So, I have an existing Outlook 2003 .pst file that contains all of the emails and Calendar information we need. My question is: what step-by-step procedure should I use that will result in this existing .pst file being the default mail location file. These super deals on OEM software I see advertised, like WordPerfect Office 12 for $18.95, are they legitimate? Some of them include a piece of computer hardware, like an obsolete RAM module or something else small, and they say that makes it legal. I assume they include a serial number to install the application, and I assume that's a legitimate, unlicensed, unique serial number.

My WindowsXP Pro computer is in serious trouble and I need help. This morning, I started it up and it wouldn't let me log on into Windows, saying some system files were bad, or some such. I stupidly forgot about System Restore and proceeded to try a Windows Repair from the WindowsXP CD. Unfortunately, I inserted the wrong CD and now the system is broken. I'm watching the Rams-Redskins football game on the local Fox station and it looks like the football game is being broadcast at 15 fps. It's like watching a streaming broadcast on the internet. Anyone else seeing this? I'm watching on KOKI TV 23 out of Tulsa and all the commercials seem to be normal, but everything from Fox Sports is weird looking.

I need some advice and help. I just got slammed by a misbehaving app's installer and my WinXP box crashed hard. I've gotten everything back up, except for one vitally important item.
