This is not my opus with respects to Free Republic, but it is my opus with respects to NJ. I hated that place since I left it 30+ years ago, when I joined the Marines vowing never to return (we all know that tune) HA! But being a responsible carbon unit I accepted a position back there not really wanting to but as my Rice Krispies whisper to me each and every morning, (besides clean your weapons) "it is better to be employed in NJ than un-employed in Missouri". The Basics Making tax cheats pay up can pay off You can inform the IRS of people who cheat on their taxes and get up to a 15% reward. But the quality of the information is critical. After all, every buck they hide from Uncle Sam ultimately means more money from the rest of us. In a memo to the leaders of both parties, participants in the House CODEL, which was led by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.), protested that the restrictions sharply undercut the group's ability to evaluate the progress of the war effort. "At...

Oh, man! Sometimes I have trouble typing up these notes for you people because I can't see through the tears from laughing so hard, or because my sides are splitting. This is one of those times. Karen Davis, Ph.D., is president of a group called United Poultry Concerns. Who are they, you ask? Well, their website states, "We are dedicated to the making of a future in which every chicken, turkey and duck has a voice that is heard," (she doesn't mention AFLAC) and "We invite the public to visit us and see what a chicken can be when ...
