Rubico is also a contributor to Wikipedia. His topics include Chess, Tibet, Scientology, Caroline Crocker and others. Every link to Rubico is connected to chess in some way and if you just follow some of the links on his websites you will find chess player ranking websites.

Interesting thing is you can also find a reference to chess ranking on his WikiProject description. The name that is being floated as his real one also happens to be one that can easily be found listed on chess ranking websites and Tennessee area chess tournaments. Also his editing of Scientology wiki pages may be a tiny clue that he may possible have been inspired by Anonymous/4Chan.

If Rubico10 is the one who did this, then I think we know plenty about him already.

Very interesting stuff. Rubico is the name of a contributor to Wikipedia. He is a member of two Wikiproject groups: Chess and Rational skepticism. He’s edited pages on Tibet, Chess, Jack Thompson (a passage referring to JT as a “fag”), Caroline Crocker, Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, and Scientology (interesting considering this was originally linked to Anonymous/4Chan).

In the Chess WikiProject he described himself as, “Rated 2000 USCF a lifelong chess player, i am interested in strategy and the fundamentals of the game.”

The guy sounds harmless enough but some of his interests suggest that he has some political opinions and his contributions to Wikipedia suggest that he has some technical acumen with a computer.
