I post this information with the following comments. As Republicans and conservatives activists, we know that Mr. Schwarzenegger has refused to sign a no tax hike pledge, refused to take a position on California's Family Leave Act (a major job-killer), supports homosexual domestic partners (opposed by 61% of Californians), supports gay adoption, supports abortion, has said that Proposition 187 is history and that he doesn't mind illegal aliens staying here, and in an unbelievably inept statement, said he will ask the Democrat Legislature to repeal the law giving drivers licenses to illegal aliens (as if the Democrats John Burton and...
  • Conservatives shouldn't shy away from core values

I believe it is OK to post Fresno Bee articles. If there is a problem, could a McClintock supporter, please clean this up for me. I won't ask anything from a Schwarzenegger backer. This is dedicated to the McClintock supporters, who believe that unborn children have value, that marriage is between a man and a woman, that limited government is the best government, that people should assume responsibility for actions, that business should be encouraged, that illegal immigration should be actively opposed (rather than conveniently ignored) and taxes should not be raised (and McClintock signed the no tax hike pledge)....

Another Bush-Cheney Rally, also dubbed "American Revolution 2000 -- Gathering II," will be held this Saturday, Nov. 25, beginning at noon at City-County Hall, 1010 10th Street in Modesto. Last Saturday, we had about 350 people in attendance. Photos of Nov. 18 Modesto rally on display at this website http://www.rtamerican.com/modrally.htm "Sore Loserman" T-shirts (in Extra-Large and Large) are now on sale for the Nov. 25 Modesto rally. The shirts are $12 each and are being sold on a first-come, first-served basis -- particularly for those who live in Central California and who will be attending the rally. If you ...

Wednesday, August 16, 2000 Who's afraid of Dr. Laura? Some advertisers cave to activist pressure tactics by Patrick Poole Homosexual activists are turning up the heat on controversial radio talk show host Dr. Laura Schlessinger as the Sept. 11 premiere of her television programa approaches. The campaign, led by the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, against both the television program's sponsors and the advertisers on her popular radio show has inflicted several notable corporate casualties in recent weeks. The Ask Dr. Laura radio show is estimated to be reaching more than 20 million listeners, one of the highest-rated talk shows ...
  • Registered Ex-Lobbyist Dorn Has To Go

    07/29/2000 7:29:26 PM PDT · by sruleoflaw · 10+ views
I would urge my fellow Freepers to constantly raise the issue of Nancy Dorn on conservative radio -- AND put the pressure on Reps. Hastert, DeLay and Armey about her. The toll-free number to the Capitol switchboard is 888-449-3511. The other number is 202-225-3121. Light up those phones. Put some heat on 'em. Let's tell them, "You want money for the elections, get rid of Dorn." We don't tolerate Dems selling advanced defense technologies for campaign cash to China and we don't tolerate shameful Republicans hiring a lobbyist who works against us re-securing the Panama Canal for America. PLEASE FIGHT ...
  • PRAYER SOUGHT FOR RETIRED MISSIONARY

My father-in-law, Stan, served as a Baptist missionary for 25 to 30 years in Brazil, starting about 25 churches. Even though he's 76 years old and is retired from the mission field, he has continued to serve the Lord, pastoring a small church in the Modesto area of California. He had a heart attack today and is in serious condition. For those who feel so led, I would be deeply appreciative of your prayers for him. Thank you and God bless.
  • McCain is trouble

    02/06/2000 12:07:16 PM PST · by sruleoflaw · 149+ views
McCain is trouble. He does not favor the repeal of the Roe vs. Wade decision; he sounds like Clinton and Gore on tax cuts; and he's endorsed by the National Gay Lobby. Sounds like a real conservative, right????? He also wanted, in effect, through the tobacco deal, to nationalize the tobacco companies. I would suggest the answer lies on the cover of the latest edition of the liberal publication, "The New Republic," which splashed a photo of McCain across its cover with the words "This man is not a Republican." Occasionally, even liberals get one right.
