Several dozen suspected terrorist bombmakers, including some believed to have targeted American troops, may have mistakenly been allowed to move to the United States as war refugees, according to FBI agents investigating the remnants of roadside bombs recovered from Iraq and Afghanistan. The discovery in 2009 of two al Qaeda-Iraq terrorists living as refugees in Bowling Green, Kentucky -- who later admitted in court that they'd attacked U.S. soldiers in Iraq ... "I wouldn't be surprised if there were many more than that," said House Committee on Homeland Security Chairman Michael McCaul... As a result of the Kentucky case, the...

If it isn't patently obvious what has happened this past week, let me explain. Ever since Romney won the GOP nom, the MSM has decided to set the bar higher than ever before -- higher than even for McCain -- half because they don't believe it's 'fair' to deprive Obama of a 2nd term despite having f'd up the economy royally, and the other half because they believe they are truly in an open war with the rest of US, the Heartland. Or to paraphrase that dead Leftist goon Andy Rooney: 'Half of the MSM love Obama, and the other...

Should someone be fired from their job and threatened with violence, torture, even death because they have an opinion different than yours? Of course not. And yet, that is what Adam M. Smith of Arizona says happened to him. Adam Smith’s life has been turned upside-down in the 36 hours that followed his posting the video of his protest at Chick-fil-A, which involved letting a young, female employee at the drive-thru know what he thinks about the company. (You can watch the video here.) We had an exclusive conversation with Smith where he shared his side of the story. Here’s...

HH: I’m joined right now by Peter Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac Polls, Quinnipiac in the news today along with CBS and New York Times for swing state polls, which surprised a lot of people. Peter, welcome, thanks for being on the show. PB: My pleasure. HH: I want to start with the models, which are creating quite a lot of controversy. In Florida, the model that Quinnipiac used gave Democrats a nine point edge in turnout. In Ohio, the sample had an eight point Democratic advantage. What’s the reasoning behind those models?PB: Well, what is important to understand is...

Jefferson City, MO (LifeNews.com) -- A new poll shows that support for Amendment 2, the Missouri measure that would have the state support human cloning and embryonic stem cell research, is dropping fast. The level of support has dropped from more than a 2-1 margin to less than 10 percent. According to a new Survey USA poll released Tuesday, just 45 percent of Missouri voters say they plan to vote for Amendment 2 while 36 percent will vote against it and another 18 percent are undecided. That's a huge difference from the last survey the polling firm did just two...

Of all the 9/11 anniversary coverage this morning, FNC was absolutely the best, letting the unadulterated tape tell the story of that savage September day.Of course, there were others, and as you might have guessed in advance, CNN's was easily the worst. Most notably, not once was Flight 175's actual impact into the South Tower ever shown. But one particularly ugly moment immediately floated to the top of the CNN bowl. Former Dem Congressman (he didn't last long) and former 'd-list' DLC hack Tim Roemer was given 5 minutes by CNN to make a free, but utterly tasteless & depraved...

Anchor: "And with us now is the president and CEO of the firm called iThenticate. Thank you for being with us tonight..." **Later (long interview)** Q: "When the Post asks you to go after Ann Coulter, did you know what were you getting into there?" Barrie: "Well, this is what happened. The Post came to us originally and they were doing a story about how Oprah Winfrey was using our technology to screen things for her show. And the Post wanted to see an example of how our technology worked. So they took a 2005 speech from Hillary Clinton...

Approximately 600 Democrats gathered in a Sacramento conference hall on Saturday, January 22, to hear seven DNC chair candidates vie for the affections of a motley crowd composed of several dozen voting DNC members and a large assortment of Deaniacs. When it was the ex-Governor's turn to speak, it was Iowa all over again... "They're gonna do those things too. The difference is we're not going to send an army of mindless zealots out into the provinces to knock on doors -- you are gonna' do it because you believe in it, and because they're you're friends and neighbors!" --...

Seems to me we have a pretty obvious FReep opportunity immediately available at the Monday Night Football Message Board at ESPN. Let me say this much, though - MNF fans will not be responsive to an overt slam on gore. But the many MNF fans on here can be subtle but firm in acknowledging both the Packer potential for a much-needed win (my apologies to Panther supporters) and blend that into how hopeless and destructive gore's attack on Bush is becoming. ESPN is fairly easy to register for, although I always erase Disney/ABC/ESPN cookies when I leave the site. Feel ...

"Republican incumbent Anne Northup has gained a clear lead over Democratic challenger Eleanor Jordan in the race for Congress in the 3rd District, according to The Courier-Journal's latest Bluegrass State Poll. Punch here for the graphic. Northup was ahead by 10 percentage points in the survey conducted Monday through Thursday of last week. In the previous Bluegrass poll, a month earlier, she was in a virtual tie because she led by only 2 points. While Northup gained with many different groups of voters, Jordan held steady or lost ground on several fronts in the district, which includes Louisville and most ...

An excerpt from an interview with Drudge: Inside: Do you think part of the appeal of the Drudge Report is ideology? Drudge: No, I'm connecting much more because I'm an independent mind. I've been very critical of George Bush. The book I've just published has a blank page for George Bush. As a matter of fact, I'm voting for him because I want the current establishment to lose. It's either that or I vote for Vladimir Putin of Moscow. Inside: Besides blow j*bs, what really drives traffic on your site? Drudge: Anything that's happening right now. Anything that hasn't made ...

Flanked by cheerleaders and football players, Republican presidential nominee George W. Bush told an enthusiastic crowd at Jefferson County's (Ky) Butler Traditional High School Wednesday (Aug. 31) that if elected he would "focus his political capital on closing the achievement gap" between rich and poor students. The Texas governor referred to recent federal test scores that showed the achievement gap between black and white students widening between 1990 and 1999. And Bush accused his Democratic rival, Vice President Al Gore, of presiding over maintenance of the gap. "For seven years the achievement gap has stagnated," Bush said. "There's been ...
