I just wanted to query the board and see if others are thinking about the merits of going electric-- electric car, that is. I used to equate electric cars with granola anti-industrialists, but now I see electric cars as a way to push all the middle eastern countries onto a subsistence diet of sand. I know gas consumption by cars is just a portion of the USA's oil requirements, but, if I may rip another page from the enviro crowd, I think its time we act locally and destroy islamic nations globally.

In a nation address soon, I so want to see Bush in a somber demeanor express regret about how the Taliban have not been forthright over the past weeks w/r to Bin Laden's whereabouts. Then Bush, with a slight smirk, turns to a monitor and says: Our special forces captured Bin Laden two weeks ago, we have him in Marion, IL, and I'm happy to say, he's been very cooperative. Glancing to bin Laden, "Haven't you?" I have hesitated in sharing this with the American people until after our special forces have destroyed as many acquaintances of Mr. Bin Laden ...
