  • Ossof and Warnock jumping on Trump $2000 proposal

So Trump has Mnuchin negotiate the Covid bill with his blessing, and in full coordination with McConnell and Loeffler.....then at the last minute, sides with Pelosi and hands GA Dems a huge gift by blowing up the bill and undercutting the position of the GA Repubs running in that race (again with Trumps full blessing BEFORE the bill was agreed to). Now Ossof and Warnock are seizing on Trumps veto threat to attack Loeffler and Perdue. Its a Trump/Ossof/Warnock alliance to spend more money. Maybe I’m missing the “brilliance” of this strategy.

Challenger pulls into double-digit lead over Trump West Long Branch, NJ – Joe Biden holds a 12-point lead over Donald Trump among all registered voters in Pennsylvania and anywhere from an 8-point to 11-point lead among likely voters, according to the Monmouth (“Mon-muth”) University Poll. This marks an improvement from Biden’s single-digit lead in a Monmouth poll just over one month ago. More voters trust the challenger than the incumbent on key issues, such as handling the pandemic. The poll does not find much shift in opinion since the president’s own Covid-19 diagnosis. Other findings show a Democratic advantage in...

Are the folks who like to tout Rasmussen as the gold standard going to say this poll is bunk? Biden is still in a commanding lead in this election. The denial crowd is very very strong here. Drive through ANY wealthy white suburb and you’ll see only Biden and BLM signs.
  • Weekly Poll roundup: Biden expanding lead

This weeks national polls: NBC/WSJ: Biden +7 ABC: Biden +10 Monmouth: Biden +11 Fox News: Biden +8 Before we start with the Hillary comparisons, running as a challenger for an open seat is fundamentally different than running for reeelection as an incumbent. Things can change but right now this is an easy win for Biden and the Senate will go Dem too.
  • US Senate state of play: Dems favored to win control now?

    05/13/2020 5:28:35 AM PDT · by St. Louis Conservative · 66 replies
Senate forecast is out and right now Dems have a (somewhat) clear advantage to take control. Here goes: Arizona: McSally hasn’t led a single poll. Trump trails Biden in most polls too so she can’t count on coattails. Dem gain. Colorado: Gardner is down double digits and Trump will Lose CO by double digits. This one is off the board. Dem gain. Maine: Collins is struggling in polling but she knows how to win in Maine. We’ll see. Currently a toss up. Georgia: Internal GOP polling just released shows Biden in the LEAD, albeit within the margin of error. Perdue...

Democrat Dan McCready has a narrow advantage over Republican Dan Bishop heading into the final days of the Sept. 10 redo election in North Carolina’s 9th District, according to a new bipartisan poll for Inside Elections. The survey, conducted Aug. 26-28 by Harper Polling and Clarity Campaign Labs, showed McCready with a 46-42 percent advantage over Bishop, and two third party candidates receiving a combined 3 percent. When leaners are included, McCready’s advantage extended to 49-44 percent. In Nov. 2018, McCready finished behind Republican Mark Harris 49.3-48.9 percent, but a winner was never certified or seated in Congress because of...

Georgia gov, Florida sen, and Arizona sen were all called last night but they are far from over. In Florida, they are heading to a recount and Nelson is slowly gaining votes. In Georgia they are “finding” more votes in Dekalb as we speak to force a runoff where Oprah will campaign nonstop for Abrams. In Arizona, McSally leads by less than 1% and Sinema is also “finding” votes. Anyone have more knowledge on these races?

So looks like 48,000 turned out in Clark Co yesterday. Dems added about 9k to their Clark firewall which is now 47,000. Looks like statewide lead is going to be around 23,000. Not a total blowout by Dems, but Rosen is definitely in the drivers seat here. Heller will need a BIG Election Day turnout. And specifically he needs to carry his home County of Washoe. Dems currently lead there.

Not only did Northam win the Virginia race, he won by 9 points, a polling error more substantial than anything we saw in 2016. Gillespie, it turns out, actually won more votes than any previous statewide Republican candidate; he had enthusiasm at his back. It’s just that Democrats had more—and they blew the doors off on Election Day. The whole spectacle was yet another blow to polling and to punditry, two industries sullied by Trump’s victory in 2016.

As the final two weeks of campaigning begin, Democrats hold an edge in both the gubernatorial and Senate contests in the key state of Florida, according to a new CNN Poll conducted by SSRS. Democratic nominee Andrew Gillum holds a wide 12-point edge over his Republican opponent Rep. Ron DeSantis in the race for governor, while the Senate contest is a closer matchup with incumbent Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson at 50% to Republican Gov. Rick Scott's 45%.

(CNN)New documents obtained by CNN's "Anderson Cooper 360" on Wednesday suggest a deeper link than previously known between the Trump Organization and the company that Donald Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, established in 2016 to pay off porn star Stormy Daniels in exchange for silence about her alleged affair with Trump. The documents also offer the first evidence of an individual employed by the Trump Organization -- other than Cohen -- being involved in an ongoing legal battle regarding Daniels' alleged affair with Trump

Trump's day of reckoning ... The one thing that could dramatically diminish President Trump’s chances of avoiding impeachment and chalking up legislative wins is Democrats winning the House. And, thanks to series of recent developments, Trump knows this no longer just seems plausible, but probable. Show less Hill sources tell us that a House Democratic takeover is now likely. One strategist close to Republican leaders believes that a loss of the House is "baked in," and said top Republicans don't see a way to avoid it.

Democratic candidates lead by 15 points in a hypothetical matchup for the 2018 midterm elections, according to a new Fox News poll. In the survey, 50 percent of respondents said that if the election for Congress were held today, they would vote for the Democratic candidate. Only 35 percent said they would vote for a Republican. About a year ago, the same question showed voters evenly split, with 45 percent saying they would vote for a Democrat, and 45 percent saying they would vote Republican.

Turning to the future, Brown said technological change and the development of artificial intelligence would transform the concept of the divine. "We will start to find our spiritual experiences through our interconnections with each other," he said, forecasting the emergence of "some form of global consciousness that we perceive and that becomes our divine". "Our need for that exterior god, that sits up there and judges us ... will diminish and eventually disappear."
