I’d expect that if the political sympathies of the populace could be graphed, they’d display a bell curve, with some degree of distortion to the left due to incessant propagandizing by the MSM. As with any bell curve, there’s going to be a small number of data points in the narrow tails; among the far left, there are those who undoubtedly want to know more about the detention camps the Tea Party is planning for black people, the deal the Papal Nuncio has with Rick Santorum to contaminate our oral contraceptive supplies with ricin, and the plot the Koch Brothers...

The ATT national Golf tournament has put U.S. Flags on the flag sticks. No problem, right ? Caddies pull the pin and stand the flag stick upside down. The US Flag is upside down and on the ground. ( I haven't seen the flag-stick put on the ground...yet) CBS hasn't shown it much, just a couple of times. The PGA should be giving these caddies a lesson. Before he left to train for a second tour of duty in Iraq, Marine Cpl. Joseph E. Stevenson III of Downers Grove wrote a letter to his family, in case he did not return. Stevenson, 20, died in his sleep on Oct. 28 at Camp Pendleton, Calif. Stevenson was buried last week with full military honors. His parents, Barbara Ann and Joseph E. Marine infantrymen have a knack for understating the spectacular. I had the privilege tonight of observing how the USMC brings home their dead. The thought hit me that I have no idea, nor have I ever seen how our Soldiers are treated. I just hope we are at least as respectful. Tonight as we arrived at the Louisville airport, the aircraft captain announced that there was a USMC Sgt on board the aircraft who was on escort duty. I am 2 hours post-op surgery. The last words I heard before going under anesthesia were: "Quit Smoking"..from the anestheseologist. The first words I heard coming out of the anesthesia, again by the anestheseologist, were "QUIT SMOKING". Please...no pros\cons of smoking. Perhaps I'm too close to the surgery but, smoking now dries out my mouth, taste absolutely rotten and gives me a headache. I now have very little desire to smoke. Please, no comments about no desire. I don't think what the anestheseologist did is right. It's not his call to get me to quit smoking, it's mine...if and when...

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE RAT TREACHERY !!!! Alabama, Illinois and California are 3 states that require 2004 Presidential ballots be locked & printed PRIOR to the RNC convention 8/31/04-09/02/04. Unless state laws are changed, this can effectively keep Pres. Bush off the ballot in these states. Especially with Hillary the RAT nominee in 2004, I believe the RATS will go to court to have these states enforce their own laws. The question is what can be done about this ? None of the above states appear to be taking any legislative action to rememdey this.

I just wanted to take a minute and share a recent experience. I currently provide tech support and training for approximately 44 Army Reserve Centers in 8 states (Comm). It?s a pretty cool job after 35 years in the business (5thCommBn, 3rdMarDiv,FMF/251 - RVN 65/66). Anyway, it is well known throughout the command that I am a Marine and the usual ribbing works both ways.
