Bingo. I always knew Newt’s ego would be his downfall. First he announces he’s going to be the nominee (”look at the polls - I’m clearly going to get the nomination”)and then gets his clock cleaned in Iowa. He needs to man-up and stop complaining. I don’t see any of the other candidates whining.
He’s a sore loser and doesn’t have the temperament to be President.
This is why Newt would be a terrible President. Too thinned skinned. Reminds me of when he complained of having to sit in the back of Air Force One on a trip to Rome for Pope John Paul's funeral. I'd vote for Santorum over Newt in a minute.
I don’t have a problem with him running negative ads. He needs to stop whining about it. You don’t see any other candidate complaining do you? If he really wanted to hurt Romney he’d get out of the race and endorse Santorum.
Yeah, but he’s not angry and bitter against Obama, the Republican establishment or the curret state of affairs. He’s angry that someone (Paul & Romney)ran negative ads against him. Politics is a nasty business - he should’ve put his big boy pants on before he got into the race.
A great reason to run for President, Newt. Stay in the race soley because of your thin skin. The guy is so angry and bitter about his record being exposed.
If Gingrich wants to drop out and support Santorum thats one thing but to stay in just because you’re bitter and angry that your record was exposed?!? It shows what this guy is all about - if you saw his speech last night, the guy is angry and bitter. Time to step aside Newt - it’s not about you.
Yeah Go Newt, as in Go Home! He reminds me of a boxer losing a fight late in the rounds throwing haymakers wildly hoping for a miracle knockout.
Newt whines to Romney to stop all the negative ads then turns around and calls him a liar. I guess Newt is realizing his bold assumption that “if you look at the polls, clearly I’m going to be the nominee” isn’t going to happen.
He got paid over $400K a year ($35K/month sounds so benign) to be a consultant, in other words a lobbyist. I don’t begrudge the man making a living, I do begrudge the man for railing against an institution (Freddie Mac) while profitting from it. It’s the hypocracy that bothers me.
