I read the other day that a landlord had a renter who was way behind on the rent and he was having trouble evicting them so he just moved into the house with them. After a short while they left. I thought that was an interesting approach.

Yep, Our Methodist church bought it’s way out and now we have the deed free and clear and are in good shape financially. We were always conservative and now have a Bible preaching pastor which we didn’t always have over the years.

My husband and I have been taking Lion’s Mane mushroom daily in extract form for over a year now. It’s from a company in Maine called North Spore. I’d suggest going to their website to read about how it’s produced etc. It’s expensive and there’s no way to be postive it works. Just hoping the research I’ve read is accurate.
Streaming is the best thing that has happened for the consumer since cable TV came into existence.
I agree. Ditched Direct TV paying $161.00 a month for their Choice programing and went streaming. I've got Peacock for $1.99 for six months and may or may not keep it after that.

It’s the only olive oil I buy too but the 100% is almost twice the price as the blend. I’d read that almost 60% of the foreign olive oil is not 100% but diluted with other oils.

I remember after Katrina people were being bused around Texas and volunteers took them into their homes. Here in our little town a kindly lady took in a family and had a lovely roast dinner prepared for when they arrived. Upon arrival they complained and wanted someone to go out and buy hamburgers and fries. Meanwhile they took over the living room couch and the TV remote. The lady called and had them picked up.

Although the Rangers are a Texas team and I like a couple of their players, I can't stand that arrogant, showboat Garcia no matter how good a hitter he is.

I read a report this morning of the parents of 10 mo. old twins who took out 7 terrorist who broke into their house before they were murdered. They had hidden the babies in a “safe” place (Jewish name) and they were found unharmed 12 hours later by their uncle and grandfather.
our group would bet on how many olives were in the salad,
So funny! My husband and I ate at OG yesterday following a Dr's appt. I had the soup and salad and my husband had the 10.99 lunch special (shrimp scampi) and iced tea. There were 3 olives in the salad. (I hunted for more).
My husband ate the shrimp (6) and about a third of the spaghetti plus my second bowl of soup. Total bill was $25.00 and change including a 20% tip. We each got 4 mints (had to ask for them) on our way out. We like OG.

I've watched this trial from the beginning. Very interesting. I've loved Ken Paxton's prosecution of the Biden administration. Whether or not he's guilty of THESE particular charges I don't know. It's pretty clear there's been some poor judgement on his part.
I will say this. Ken Paxton has a darn good team of lawyers. Very skilled cross examination. Better than the House lawyers IMO. It'll be interesting to see how it all turns out. Even with a 31 Senate Republican majority, acquittal is not assured.
