Calling all veterans! Attn. on deck! Fall in! Let us not forget that the Marine Corps Birthday & Veteran's Day is coming up within a month or so. We need to get out and go to some of the public displays & visit our brothers & sisters in the hospitals and in public hideaways to show them that they are not forgotten. I am thinking about getting my FFL. to start a small dealerdhip from home. Nothing exotic, just maybe some firearms from the civilian markmanship program. [ie .22's, .30 cal, maybe .223's or so] Since I get so many responses from the Freepers, I thought I would ask.

I do not have a link as of yet. But it seems that a UAW type, went postal in the Jeep Plant in North Toledo OH. 3 shot not including shooter, 2 dead including the shooter. There is also a rumor of a bomb in the shooters coat. He was going to get "displined" for something, what it was they [the police] are not saying as of yet.

On or around the Feb.01,2005, I will get my daughter [age 11] will get her first .22 rifle. I will be getting her a Henery Lever action Youth model. I will also be getting a larger version for myself, so we can go shooting together. I post this in order to get other "Freepers" input on this. Her mother [is a critter lover] is very aginst hunting, but has let me get her one so we can go target shooting on the local range. I hope that this will make for some great "Daddy & Daughter" days!

My wife and eldest daughter have a club. This is a club where the emphisis is on coumminty service. It started out as a anti-bully club, and has grown to do so much more. They have had clothing drives [for the local homeless charity] food drive [for the Salvation Army], a benifit for the local battered womens shelter [they raised $100.00] and did a day for the Humane Society, they also sent letters to terminally ill kids. Now their group is for the troops that are deployed over seas. In hopes of lightening up their moods of the folks deployed....
